This is not medical advice, but what’s the harm in having the curiosity to get to know yourself, and the courage to be yourself?

That’s what being successful with ADHD is all about.

And when you leverage (rather than sacrifice) your health to support the vehicle that drives focus and motivation sustainably, THATS when you become unstoppable.

It shouldn’t take a decade on the maximum dose of Adderall, multiple scientific degrees to try and fix yourself, or battling with insomnia, a stutter, crippling anxiety, and borderline anorexia to have to take your health seriously and step into your excellence.

That’s what I had to do, and while it was very painful, it gave me the tools, credibility, and THE EMPATHY to help people like me turn things around from a place of self-love rather than guilt or shame.

My dear ADHDers, I am here to help 🫡 leave your questions below or DM me 🫶🏼

*NOT MEDICAL ADVICE*

Come on you guys…

I’m an exercise physiologist and biomedical neuroscientist that owns and operates a concierge health and medical practice where we recommend and provide medical oversight for peptides (among other things).

OBVIOUSLY INSULIN AND GLP-1s WORK AND ARE MEDICALLY RELEVANT TO SO MANY PEOPLE (can’t believe I have to explain this 🤦🏽‍♂️)

I take peptides too! Mainly BPC-157 & TB500 plus I’ve experimented with GLP-3 and a few others… with very little to show for it even though I got them from the best source and followed all the best protocols. I WANT THEM TO WORK.

And guess what? The fact that peptides haven’t really worked for me is MY ANECDOTAL EVIDENCE. You may have had a different experience, that’s YOUR ANECDOTAL EVIDENCE.

Rather than debate your anecdotal evidence vs mine, how about you ZOOM OUT and realize that most of the “research” on peptides comes down to our anecdotal evidence which is the BOTTOM OF THE TOTEM POLE for scientific efficacy?

Lol how about we wait till there’s just a little more data before we consider peptides PANACEA like we did with CBD in 2019?

Oh wait! The only problem is your favorite influencer with ZERO SCIENTIFIC CREDIBILITY likes them, claims they and their clients owe their results to them, and the research is limited/inconclusive to the point where they can make a quick buck. But they have a six pack, wear a Whoop, and competed in HYROX! They must know everything about a new area of scientific research that influences your physiology.

Look I’m not the most shredded dude on the planet, but just IMAGINE if someone like me, with my background, credibility and clientele starting putting an affiliate code for peptides in my videos…

Do you have any idea how many peptide companies blow up my DMs every week? My god. I would make a killing!

I’ll stick to what the literature supports for now. Happy to be skeptical for now and change my mind later.

Stop blaming whole sources of carbs for what processed carbs do.

Comment “CARBS” for my mini podcast episode that covers everything you need to know about choosing & leveraging the right carbs for health and human performance.

And if you can’t tell…. I love carbs almost as much as I hate carbphobia. I love kingketo too 🤝 and of course there’s reasons to experiment with a ketogenic diet.

Did I get this right or should we discuss in the comments? 🤔

Some went abroad. I went aboard.

Two years on my buddy Nick’s ’89 Gozzard in Biscayne Bay, where the toilet was broken and the inverter was broken and the dinghy engine was some kind of Frankenstein contraption no one could identify.

There was a boat uber named Mr. Paul who took my calls at any hour, until the day he got arrested for hijacking a yacht and probably some other stuff too. Then I started called Pete for help, who very appropriately kept a parrot on his shoulder at all times.

I’d wake up to ants crawling on my body, and I’d also get the best sleep of my life with the waves rocking me to sleep and ocean breezes that beat AC every time.

The sunsets were obscene, the problems were endless, and every single one of them was mine to figure out.

That’s the lesson living on a boat actually teaches you. Not sailing, not knots, just that intelligence isn’t about how much you know but how willing you are to figure things out when nobody is coming to save you.

Every founder needs a season like this before they build anything real, not a sabbatical or a vacation but a chapter of low-stakes chaos where you train the muscle of resourcefulness before the stakes become your company and your team and your name.

Move to a country where you don’t speak the language, live on a boat, build something nobody asked for, shave your head, whatever it takes to crack the script open before life forces you to.

I don’t have a clean name for this phase yet. The Apprenticeship? The Sandbox? The Driftwood Years?

What would you call it? 🤔
