The drums beat strong and true
Calling Indigenous people through
The rhythms of the past and present merge
As the heartbeat of the people emerge
The voices of the ancestors ring clear
In each beat, a message we hear
A call to gather, to celebrate
Our culture and traditions, never to abate
The beat of the drum echoes far and wide
A joyful sound, a call to take pride
In who we are and where we come from
Our connection to the earth, to everyone
So let the drums continue to sound
Let their message spread around
That we are still here, strong and free
And our culture and traditions will always be
The drums call us home, back to ceremony
A celebration of life and harmony
A reminder of the strength we possess
As we honor our ancestors and their quest
So dance, sing, and rejoice
As we hear the drums' joyful voice
For in this beat, we find our home
And in this moment, we are never alone.
