✨ Fungal acne: what if your skin isn’t actually “breaking out”?

“Fungal acne“ is a common term used to describe Malassezia Folliculitis — an overgrowth of yeast that lives naturally on the skin and can cause small, uniform, itchy, or irritated bumps, often on the forehead, cheeks, chest or back.

- sweat and occlusion
- heavy/oily products that may contribute to follicle buildup
