Erica here! It is with a very heavy heart that I announce that my last day at Eternal Ink will be this Saturday, September 5th. My commute to work from Olean has proven to be too much, and I’ve made the decision to start working closer to home. I have so many mixed emotions about leaving. Eternal Ink has been such an important part of my life, both personally and professionally, and I am incredibly grateful for all of the experiences, friendships, lessons, and memories I’ve made during my time here. This shop has given me so much more than just a place to work, it gave me a place to grow, learn, create, and find my confidence as an artist.
To all of my clients who have supported me throughout the years, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for trusting me with your ideas, your stories, your bodies, and your time. Every tattoo and piercing has meant something to me, and I am so thankful that you’ve allowed me to be a part of those moments. I truly would not be where I am today without your continued support.
I still have a few openings this week for tattoos, and I will also be piercing, so if you’ve been thinking about getting something before I leave, now is the time! And the biggest thank you to Casper and Serena. You two have been there for me through so much, and I cannot put into words how much that has meant to me. Casper, you taught me how to tattoo, took a chance on me, and gave me my start when you didn’t have to. I will forever be grateful that you believed in me and gave me the opportunity to become the artist I am today. You both have always been kind, encouraging, and supportive. I have learned so much from you, and I will carry those lessons with me wherever I go. I appreciate you both more than words can express, and I will always be grateful for the time I spent at Eternal Ink. ❤️
To all of my regulars who may not be able to make the commute to Olean to continue getting tattooed by me, I hope you’ll consider keeping your business with Eternal Ink. You will be in very good hands, and I know the shop and the people there will continue to do amazing things.
Thank you, Eternal Ink, for everything. I’ll always be grateful for where this journey began. ❤️
