We had a great time on Friday on the last day of our anniversary celebration!

Thanks to Representative Justin Pizzulli and the House of Representatives for honoring the 65th anniversary of our West Union location and the 50th anniversary of our Peebles location today.

🎉 65 YEARS OF Blake Pharmacy and Radio Shack 🎉

Talk about a West Union milestone! This week, they are celebrating an incredible 65 years of service, community, and tradition!

The legacy officially began on January 1, 1961, when a 25-year-old Bob Blake took ownership of the pharmacy right on the Courthouse Square. Back then, the square was bustling with local grocery stores, hardware shops, and clothing boutiques. While the times and the storefronts around them changed, Blake Pharmacy held strong, anchored by unwavering dedication to the people of Adams County.

From providing trusted care and tech needs to keeping history alive with being one of the last three historic "soda-jerk" pharmacies still operating in the entire state of Ohio! (where you can still grab a nickel Coke), Blakes is so much more than a business. It’s a cornerstone of our community heritage!

Thank you to the Blake family and their incredible staff for 65 years of looking out for our health, our families, and our history. We are so proud to have you in Adams County!
