Specializing in pulmonary medicine, Julia enjoys diagnosing and treating respiratory conditions while helping patients improve their breathing and quality of life. Her patient care philosophy focuses on treating the whole person and partnering with patients to create care plans they understand, support and feel confident following.

Outside of work, Julia enjoys spending time with her husband, two young children and two dogs, exploring local parks, trying new restaurants and finding the best ice cream shops. She is also an avid Colorado Avalanche fan!

Specializing in family medicine, Dr. Oldenburger enjoys caring for patients of all ages and backgrounds through every stage of life. Her patient care philosophy focuses on understanding each person as a whole, including their lifestyle, beliefs and unique circumstances, to provide personalized, evidence-based care.

Outside of work, Dr. Oldenburger enjoys spending time with her family, working out, tackling landscaping and DIY projects, and testing her skills in escape rooms.

Her clinical interests include women’s health, preventive care, hypertension and diabetes, and she believes in creating a collaborative, judgment-free environment where patients feel heard and empowered in their healthcare decisions.

Outside of work, Dr. Giller enjoys spending time with her husband, two children and their pup, practicing Pilates, exploring new restaurants and visiting the Des Moines Farmers’ Market.

Dr. Escher has always had a little bit of wheels under him. 🛼 As a kid, rollerblading was his secret skill—and judging by his 4:02 mile, that athletic streak never really went away! 🏃‍♂️

From classroom days to his career in medicine, Dr. Escher has stayed true to what motivates him. Now, he’s bringing that same energy to The Iowa Clinic, along with comprehensive ENT care and a passion for partnering with his patients.
