2026 marks 8 years in business, as well as 30 years since I first discovered weight training.

Back in 1996, my mother bought me my first gym membership to Gold’s Gym, and I haven't stopped since.

For almost 20 years, I dreamed of opening my own training studio. I’d always say:
“One day I’m going to do it.”

Then life hit hard. After unexpectedly losing my brother, something in me shifted. I realized I could wake up at 80 years old — or sooner — and never have taken the chance on the life I truly wanted to live.

So I made the leap.

I walked away from a high-paying but soul-draining office job, went back to school for nutrition, and started building this life from the ground up.

There was fear.
There was uncertainty.
Some people thought I was making a brilliant decision.
Others probably thought I was completely crazy… which, to be fair, may still be partially true 😝

But I followed my heart, stayed the course, and never stopped believing in the work.

3 decades of weight training has taught me far more than how to build muscle. It taught me about discipline, suffering, resilience, compassion, presence, and the strength that cannot be forged without struggle.

Every day I wake up grateful that I get to live my passion, help people reconnect to their bodies, and hopefully help them discover their strength — both inner and outer.

To every client, friend, family member, and supporter who has been part of this journey:
thank you. I truly appreciate all of you 🙏🏽

Eat. Whole. Foods.

My daily breakfast:

* Eggs → solid protein + fats, good leucine contribution
* Steak → more solid protein, more leucine
* Twice Cooked Potatoes → clean carbs, potassium, easy digestion, gut health
* Avocado → quality fats + fiber + micronutrients + magnesium
* Salt - electrolytes
*Olive Oil - monounsaturated fats, polyphenols

Using daily affirmations has really changed how I meet the world. I don't just read them or say them, I feel them, I embody them, I live them.

Stay strong, present and open to life my friends 🙏🏽

For a long time my digestion wasn't where it should be, now it's the best it's felt in years.

Most people don’t realize how much their gut is affecting their energy, mood, immune system and recovery… until it starts working properly again.

Over the last few weeks I’ve made a few simple changes:
• Cut out substances that were slowing digestion
• Increased my overall food intake
• Started prioritizing gut health daily

Nothing extreme. Just consistent.

Here’s what that looks like:
– Twice-cooked potatoes (great for feeding good gut bacteria)
– Greek yogurt + kimchi + kefir (natural probiotics)
– Kombucha here and there
– Plenty of whole foods and hydration
- Minimizing glyphosate

The result?

Better digestion
More regularity
Less bloating
More energy throughout the day

Your gut isn’t just about food — it’s your foundation.

If your digestion is off, your whole system feels it.

You don’t need a complicated protocol.
Start simple. Stay consistent.

Train your body.
Regulate your system.
Feed your gut.

Everything else builds from there.

This is what proper hydration looks like

Salt isn’t the enemy. Misuse is.

For years, salt has been lumped in with processed foods and preservatives and labeled as “bad”… but that’s a massive oversimplification.

Here’s the truth:

Sodium is essential for human function.

It helps regulate:
• Hydration (fluid balance inside and outside your cells)
• Muscle contractions (including your heart)
• Nerve signaling
• Blood volume and performance

If you’re active, sweating, training hard, using the sauna, or living a high-output lifestyle… your needs go up, not down.

Low sodium can look like:
• Fatigue
• Brain fog
• Headaches
• Poor performance
• Muscle cramps
• That “off” feeling you can’t quite explain

Meanwhile, most of the fear around salt comes from studies on:
→ sedentary populations
→ highly processed food diets
→ people already dealing with metabolic dysfunction

That’s not the same as someone training, sweating, and eating real food.

The goal isn’t “avoid salt.”

The goal is:
→ Use it intentionally

What that looks like for me:
• Adding quality salt to meals and my water
• Using electrolytes daily
• Increasing intake on high sweat days (training, sauna, long runs)
• Listening to thirst, energy, and performance cues

Salt isn’t something to fear.

It’s something to respect and use correctly.

Like most things in health — context matters.

Creatine is one of the most researched — and most misunderstood — supplements out there.

Here’s what it actually does:

• Helps you produce more energy (ATP) → more strength and better workouts
• Supports muscle growth by improving training output and recovery
• Pulls water into muscle cells (not “bloating” — this is a good thing)
• Supports brain function, focus, and mental endurance
• May help with long-term muscle and neurological health

You don’t need to “load” it.
You don’t need anything fancy.

3–5g per day. Consistency over everything.

It’s not magic — but it’s one of the few supplements that actually works.

If you train hard, want to stay strong, and take care of your body long-term… it’s worth considering.
