So thankful for our friends at Big Nugget Farms! Food matters! 🙌🏼❤️ Thank you for being a farmer for our community, despite all the challenges.

The good 'ole hindsight is 20/20 sure applies here. This greenhouse was just not right for our Westcliffe wind and snow. Over the next week, we'll be transforming it to function better for us. This is in lieu of scrapping everything and starting from scratch.
Farming is hard, y'all. So much time, stress, plans that spit in your face, physical pain, and expense like you couldn't imagine. So then why do it? Because clean food matters. Talking to people about why glyphosate is dangerous and how to read ingredient labels is important. Showing people what they can grow in 5 gallon buckets is awesome.
We're teaching our kids not only these same things, but grit, work ethic, entrepreneurship, and how to pivot rather than quit.
We believe what you put in and on your body matters.

Tracy joins us with years of invaluable experience as a Medical Assistant and CNA. She is also an avid member of our community and helps Custer County in so many ways!

What makes her a perfect fit for our practice is her deep passion for integrated and holistic medicine—she truly believes in treating the whole person, not just the symptoms. 🌿✨

We are so incredibly excited to have her expertise and positive energy on our team.

A New Era for Women’s Health: Goodbye PCOS, Hello PMOS!

Groundbreaking news in the world of women’s health! After a global consensus process involving experts and patients worldwide, the condition we’ve known as PCOS has officially been renamed Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS).

Why does this name change matter so much?
For too long, the focus has been on "polycystic ovaries." But as we’ve seen in practice, those "cysts" were never the real problem—they were just a sign of a much deeper, more complex picture.

What "PMOS" means:
• Polyendocrine: It recognizes that multiple hormones (like insulin and androgens) are involved, not just those from the ovaries.
• Metabolic: It validates the metabolic roots of the syndrome, highlighting the importance of blood sugar, insulin resistance, and long-term wellness.
• Ovarian: It acknowledges the ovarian impact without the misleading focus on "cysts".

This shift finally aligns the medical name with the integrative and holistic way we have always approached this condition. It acknowledges the bigger endocrine and metabolic picture and removes the stigma and confusion that the old name created.
We are no longer just "managing symptoms"—we are addressing the root cause.
