Meet Ed, a current subacute rehab patient at Westerly Rehab who continues to make tremendous progress throughout his recovery journey.

When Ed arrived following a serious neurological event, he required maximum assistance from two people and was unable to complete many daily activities. Today, he is walking independently and continuing to work toward his goal of returning home.

Ed is proud of how far he has come, and the Westerly team, including Julia Johnson, DPT pictured here, is proud to support him through each next step!

Join us in celebrating a very special birthday! 🎉

Last week, Catherine celebrated her 105th birthday with family, friends, and everyone at Westerly by her side!

Catherine’s favorite thing other than bingo and music is sitting outdoors. Catherine and her husband enjoyed traveling in their camper after they retired.

We asked Catherine for her secret to a long life, and her advice was simple: "Always have fun and be kind."

The date 7/10 serves as a powerful reminder that 7 out of 10 deaths in the U.S. are caused by chronic diseases, including heart disease, cancer, and diabetes. Raising awareness is an important step toward prevention, early intervention, and better health outcomes.

At our center, we are committed to supporting individuals living with chronic illnesses through personalized, compassionate care that empowers them every step of the way.
