📣 LEAP Talk Highlight 📣

People with disabilities view many rehabilitation interventions as irrelevant or absent of meaningful benefit. This session will introduce attendees to co-design and co-production to enhance the meaning and relevance of rehabilitation research studies and related interventions for people with disabilities. Speakers will specifically draw from their own co-design work collaboratively building the rehabilitation research agenda with adults with cerebral palsy.

Congratulations to the OTPTAT Board on celebrating its 50th anniversary!

On behalf of OPTA, we congratulate the Board on this important milestone and thank you for five decades of service and dedication to protecting the public and supporting the occupational therapy, physical therapy, and athletic training professions in Ohio.

Continuing on with our celebration of the OTPTAT Board 50th Anniversary, the Board's mission expanded in 1977 when physical therapists joined occupational therapy, creating the Ohio Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy Board. Physical therapist assistants began to be licensed as a part of the 1977 legislation, which established the Physical Therapy Section.
