šŸ˜µā€šŸ’«The amount of information overload & conflicting advice women in perimenopause are trying to manage all at once is genuinely exhausting.

And none of it is actually working for you.

šŸ‘‰šŸ»Here’s why.

Every piece of advice is disconnected & doesn’t hit why your body is stuck gaining weight or why you feel like šŸ’©

Recipes, Tips & tricks don’t target your body as system. Isolated shifts rarely move the needle.

Eat less. Move more. Add protein. Supplements. 10K steps. Reduce stress. The list is endless and the instructions contradict each other constantly.

And meanwhile your body keeps changing, you keep gaining weight & feeling at a loss with how to help your body.

🌿What nobody is telling you is that in perimenopause, none of those individual pieces moves the needle on their own.

Not because they’re wrong.
Because they’re incomplete.

Your body is dealing with something specific right now.

Insulin resistance is increasing. Chronic inflammation is rising.

Lean muscle is declining. And every one of those things is directly driven by how your hormones are shifting, not by how hard you’re trying or how many things you’re tracking

The solution isn’t adding more to the list. It’s having one cohesive plan that addresses ALL of it at the same time, built specifically for where your body is right now

That’s what most women have never had. Not a longer checklist. A strategy that works with where your body is now.

When you have the right framework, you stop guessing. You stop stacking supplements & hoping.

You stop adding workouts & changing your plan hoping it’s the ā€˜magical’ solution.

You stop trying to out-discipline a body that needs a different approach entirely. The noise quiets down because you finally know exactly what to do and why it worksšŸ’ŖšŸ»

šŸ”„Comment PROGRAM if you’re done guess, done with the noise & ready to fit in your clothes again. I’ll personally reach out

My 12-week Perimenopause Diet Metabolic Healing Program replaces the information overload with a clear, strategic plan built for your hormonal environment, so you can stop managing a list & start actually seeing results.

🌿Heading to a dinner with friends & shopping in my garden for something to take!

I always bring a vegetable side dish to dinner parties, because I want options I feel good about no matter what else is on the table (& I love sharing healthy dishes with others)!

This one came straight from the garden, took about 30 minutes and was gone before anything else on the table.

Spaghetti squash with fresh garden pesto, cherry tomatoes and basil. Gluten free, dairy free, no cheese required.

šŸ„—Just real, simple, seasonal ingredients that taste incredible together.

āļøFun fact: spaghetti squash is a non-starchy vegetable with minimal impact on your insulin system. Don’t overcook it and the texture holds up like al dente pasta.

🌿GARDEN PESTO SPAGHETTI SQUASH

1 medium spaghetti squash, halved and seeded
1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
1 large tomato
1 large garlic clove
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp Himalayan salt, to taste
Dash of pepper
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

Roast squash face down in a glass dish at 400F for 30 min until it flakes with a fork. While roasting, blend basil, tomato, garlic, olive oil, salt and pepper in a mini food processor. Scrape squash and let cool 10 min. Toss with pesto, stir in cherry tomatoes and top with fresh basil. Serve warm or cold.

This is what eating well in real life actually looks like.

Not restrictive, not tracking everything, not complicated, just intentional. You can show up to any gathering with something beautiful and delicious that also supports your goals.

šŸ™ŒšŸ»This is also amazing leftover with chicken added to make a complete meal!

Save this for your next dinner party when you don’t know what to bring. It travels well, feeds a crowd and will be the dish everyone asks about. šŸ…šŸŒæ

šŸ‘‰šŸ»She was doing everything right.
Working out, eating well, managing her health proactively.

When the weight started creeping up and she started feeling off, she did what most women do: she asked for help.

She got labs. She started HRT. She expected it to be ā€œthe solutionā€

But it wasn’t. Not for the weight. Not for the energy.
Not for feeling like herself again.

*this is where you start to lose hope*

šŸ’šHere’s the progression nobody talks about:

Your hormones shift. You gain weight despite nothing changing. You feel worse despite trying harder.

You go to your doctor and get told it’s hormones, so you chase the hormone fix. Labs, protocols, HRT, maybe even a GLP-1 starts looking tempting. And you still don’t feel better.

Because hormones were never the real fix.

As estrogen shifts in perimenopause, it changes your metabolic foundation.

ā¬†ļøInsulin resistance increases.
ā¬‡ļøLean muscle declines.
ā¬†ļøInflammation rises.

And if your nutrition and lifestyle aren’t specifically adjusted to offset those changes, nothing you layer on top will fix it.

Not the labs. Not the medication. Because you’re treating the symptom, not the cause.

šŸ”„This is the missing step.

Her OB/GYN eventually referred her to me. Over 12 weeks she lost 12 pounds (14 total now) several inches off her waist & stomach, came OFF HRT and her hormonal symptoms continued to improve without it šŸ™ŒšŸ»šŸ˜±(this is normal following THE PMD)

Not because we balanced her hormones directly. Because we rebuilt the metabolic foundation that her hormones had been quietly dismantling, & in turn her hormone balance improved

You’re not doing everything wrong. You’re doing everything right for a body that no longer exists.

🄦Nutrition needs change as your metabolism changes. And when you finally eat for where your body is now, not where it was five years ago, everything shifts.

This is what we fix in my 12 week program.

šŸ’ŖšŸ»It started out of necessity. The gyms shut down in 2020 & Andy looked at me, not even a year postpartum with our second, & said ā€œyou’re doing this with me.ā€

We cleared space in our family room, started live streaming three times a week with kids crawling around us.

Andy wrote the same quality programming he always had for gym clients, adapted for the basic equipment we actually owned. A pair of 8s, 15s, one kettlebell and 12-pound dumbbells was all we had

We did it for our clients.
But the biggest transformation was our own.

Andy had trained for 20 years, three failed shoulder surgeries, chronic pain he’d accepted as permanent.

One day mid-warmup he said ā€œI don’t think my shoulder hurts anymore.ā€ For the first time he was actually following a program that addressed stability, mobility and muscle imbalances...everything traditional strength training ignores.

For me, I finally had something I could be consistent with that challenged me even more than in the gym.
No commute, no schedule issues around two kids.

I rebuilt my core after pregnancy, got rid of chronic knee pain & got stronger & leaner than I ever was going to the gym, working out three times a week from home.

ā€¼ļøWhat we learned: just adding strength training isn’t enough. You need full range of motion, joint support, balance and progressive challenge over time.

Functional strength training checks every box most people are trying to cover with five different classes and programs.

Six & a half years later, stronger, leaner and more capable than ever. No gym required.

And now launching our brand new Fit From Home AppšŸ™ŒšŸ»

šŸ’ŖšŸ»šŸ”„This is Fit From Home. Hundreds of workouts, three new ones every week, live streamed with a community that shows up with you.

šŸ‘‰šŸ»I spent years being good at health on the surface and exhausted underneath it.

Like it was a full time job to just keep my weight where I felt comfortable.

Doing the things. Following the rules.
Trying to ā€œget serious this weekā€.

After my girls were born I hit a wall, physically & mentally.

I was done with the all or nothing cycle. Done with fighting the same battles. Done with a version of ā€œhealthyā€ that still felt like deprivation with a prettier label.

I remember standing in my kitchen having the same thoughts of ā€œI need to be really good this week, we have a trip coming up.ā€

And then pausing & saying to myself: there has to be a better way. It shouldn’t be this hard.

So I went back to the drawing board.

I stopped thinking about food as numbers & started understanding it as information, for my hormones, my metabolism, my mood, my energy, the way I show up every single day.

I stopped looking at it in pieces & started understanding how everything works together.

That shift didn’t just change my body.
It changed my relationship with myself.

Now I know how to eat when I’m stressed.
How to easily maintain my weight.
How to train in a way that builds my metabolism.
How to navigate hormonal shifts without losing my mind.

How to FEEL GOOD, consistently, sustainably, without the mental burden of ā€˜be more disciplined’

And my daughters get to watch that. They get to grow up seeing a woman who takes care of herself not from fear or punishment but from genuine knowledge & self-respect.

šŸ’•That’s the example I want to leave them:
Nutrition & Exercise support our bodies so we can live life the way we’re meant to.

If you’re ready to stop cycling through what doesn’t work & build a foundation that actually holds, as your hormones change, as life gets complicated, as the old rules stop applying, this is where that starts.
