We are very excited to welcome Lizzy Dregne to the Antidote Functional Therapies team! 👏👏👏👏

Lizzy joins us as a Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Personal Trainer, Movement & Corrective Exercise Specialist and Holy Fire® Reiki Practitioner. Her unique background brings together movement and massage, offering a blended experience to effect lasting change. In her words:

"Drawing from my background in athletic training, movement and various modes of bodywork, I have an intuitive, integrative style that supports pain relief, body awareness and nervous system regulation. I approach each session with curiosity and intention, listening and adapting to what you need; this may include therapeutic massage, assisted movement and stretching, focused breathwork and/or energy work. My goal is to create the conditions for you to soften, release and move with greater ease."

Nine years of learning, growing, and having the privilege of caring for this incredible community. Every session, every conversation and every client has helped shape who we are today and we couldn't be more grateful.

Pain is information, but it isn't always the problem. The area that hurts is often the place that's working the hardest to compensate.

A sore shoulder may be responding to limited rib movement. Low back tension may be influenced by reduced hip mobility. A feeling of heaviness or puffiness may benefit from supporting your lymphatic system.

Our goal isn't simply to reduce discomfort for the short term, but help understand adaptation and find a more efficient pattern.

That's why every session is individualized. We are able to offer sessions combining therapeutic massage, myofascial cupping, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, CranioSacral Therapy, mobility restoration or other hands-on techniques based on what YOU present and need.

Because while treating symptoms is ok, listening to the underlying issues is even better.

Newly certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage therapists in the house!!! Megan Serhan and I completed our certification with Klose Training this month and have already been integrating this impactful work into our sessions!

This specialized, gentle technique is designed to support the body's lymphatic system, helping to reduce swelling, encourage fluid movement, support immune function and promote overall wellness.

At Antidote Functional Therapies, we are committed to continuing our education so we can bring the highest level of care to our clients. We’re thrilled to add this advanced training to our growing toolboxes and look forward to supporting more people on their healing journeys.
