Your assessment gives us a starting point for your training.

Over 45–60 minutes, we look at gait, movement patterns and single-side work. We use those observations to identify training priorities and build an individualized plan.

Suitcase carries for big Logan O’Toole today. Suitcase carries are an amazing, simple addition to any athletic development program because of their ability to strengthen the deep core muscles like the psoas. Adequate strengthening of the lower back and surrounding core is essential to transferring force through the legs and into the upper body in any sport. A stick breaks in the middle. There’s no excuse not have these in your program especially if you have issues with low back stability/ strength.

What we recommend:
30% of your bodyweight to start, 2-3 sets per hand for around 30 seconds per set per hand. Scale the suitcase carries as you get stronger in your compound lifts and you can prevent a lot of the lower back injuries that are especially common in young athletes as they’re developing. 🦾

Bryce executing the isometric split squat perfectly- externally rotated hips, good floor contact and building the patellar and quad tendons!! This is an exercise we use frequently to strengthen soft tissues in our athletes to prevent injury, create neuromuscular coordination and teach them body awareness + positioning for the strength movements. 3-4 working sets of 40-60 seconds is ideal to create and build tendon stability. These also significantly reduce pain if you’re suffering from patellar/ quad tendinitis.
