From preschool drop-offs to college graduation…I blinked! 🎓

Watching you grow into who you are has been such a gift. You are grounded, determined, disciplined, loyal, funny, loving, kind and expressive to name a few. A one-of-a-kind human in all the ways.

So proud not only of everything you accomplished, but of the way you did it. Lacrosse, academics, friends who are now brothers. All with grace, a smile and a sparkle in your eye.

Small family dinner, big celebration with amazing friends and family, and all the feels in between. The tassel was worth it. 🖤💛

What if your practice didn’t have to make sense to anyone but you?

Most of us are taught to follow the plan.
Right side. Left side. Perfect sequence. Clean lines.

Today, I didn’t do that.

I didn’t plan this.
I didn’t make it symmetrical.
I didn’t try to get it “right.”

I just moved.

I listened to what my body was asking for—
more space here, more strength there,
a pause when I needed it,
support when I didn’t want to push.

It was messy.
It was uneven.
It didn’t match on both sides.

And it felt better than anything perfectly planned.

Have you ever tried moving like this?
Without a script. Without judgment.

There’s something powerful that happens when you stop performing
and start paying attention.

Grace within the mess.

Part 11 | Hear We Go 🎧 : The Quiet Before Sound

I still can’t hear on this side.

Next week is activation day.
That’s when everything begins.

From there, I’ll have to teach my brain how to hear again—
one natural ear, one electrical.

This is neuroplasticity in real time.

Learning a new way to hear.

Hear We Go | Part 6 : Why I chose this.

I could have kept living like this… and for a while, I did.

I have single-sided deafness, which means I can only hear out of one ear. And I adapted. I figured it out. I worked around it.

But it was taking more energy than I realized.

At some point, I just didn’t want to live like that anymore.

This wasn’t just about hearing. It was a decision I made about the quality of my life.
