We want to thank the many fundraisers and community partners who made a difference for children and families facing cancer during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. We’re especially proud to highlight One Mission for their year-round support of pediatric cancer care and research. Through the One Mission Resource Room and the One Mission Music Therapy Program, their fundraising helps create moments of comfort, connection, and normalcy when families need it most.

Yesterday was a milestone day! Boston Children’s and Franciscan Children’s celebrated the groundbreaking for the future clinical building – Hale Family Building – on Franciscan Children’s campus in Brighton. This campus renewal project will create a transformative system of pediatric behavioral health and rehabilitative care.

We appreciate the unwavering support of Karen and Rob Hale, as well as many in city, state, and federal government who have supported us in getting to this point and those who celebrated with us today. Thank you to everyone who was able to join us over the weekend celebrating another successful Fetal Intervention Family Day with the patients and families of our Fetal Care and Surgery Center! Our staff and their own families also came to connect with patient families—further strengthening the community we have built together.

Walker welcomes Radhika, the newest member of the Boston Children’s menagerie, in the Karp Friendship Garden. 🐘 The visit was especially meaningful for Walker, who missed The Great Elephant Migration during its visit to Boston. We are grateful to Karen and Rob Hale for this thoughtful gift, which promises to bring moments of joy and wonder to patients, families, and staff while adding to the hospital’s garden spaces.

Boston Children's is grateful to be the recipient of a landmark $10M gift from Bank of America that directly supports the hospital's new pediatric behavioral health campus in Brighton.

Designed as a therapeutic, family-centered environment, the new space on the campus of Franciscan Children's will combine inpatient, outpatient, and rehabilitation services that reimagine how behavioral health care is delivered.

Yesterday, the MayeDay Family Foundation joined Shaw's Supermarket and Star Market at Family Food Connections, Boston Children’s Hospital’s food pantry, to support families facing food insecurity.

Alongside hands-on volunteer service, the MayeDay Family Foundation announced a $100,000 gift made possible through the support of the Shaw’s and Star Market Foundation. Together, we're helping ensure families have access to the healthy, nutritious food children need to grow, heal, and thrive. 💙 Last year alone, Family Food Connections supported more than 72,000 family visits and distributed more than 165,000 pounds of food each month.
