GOOD MORNING…”DEMONSTRATION VS. EXPLANATION”
“Let us go over to the other side.” — Mark 4:35
Jesus didn’t explain every detail of the journey; He simply invited His disciples to trust Him. When the storm came, He didn’t offer an explanation, He demonstrated His authority by calming the wind and the waves. God often works the same way in our lives. We may seek answers, but He reveals His faithfulness through His presence and power. Faith grows not by knowing everything, but by trusting the One who always keeps His word.

Heavenly Father, forgive me for demanding explanations when You are inviting me to trust Your character. Help me to recognize Your faithfulness in every season and to rest in the demonstrations of Your love, power, and provision. Strengthen my faith so that I will follow You with confidence, even when I don’t have all the answers. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Enjoy Your Day!

GOOD MORNING…”YOUR ATTITUDE!”
But food does not bring us near to God; we are no worse if we do not eat, and no better if we do. Be careful, however, that the exercise of your rights does not become a stumbling block to the weak. (1 Corinthians 8:7-9)
Sin or grace doesn’t come from what’s on your plate but from what’s in your heart. Diets, trends, and ideologies may change, and living by God’s Word may seem outdated, but our freedom in Christ isn’t measured by what we eat. Food doesn’t define your faith, your relationship with God does. While unhealthy habits can reveal deeper issues, the real problem isn’t the menu but the mindset. In the end, it’s your attitude before God, not your food, that produces either sin or grace.
Lord, all glory belongs to You. You created the world and everything in it, and I thank You for creating me and calling me to life. Thank You for the grace You pour into my life each day. Please grant me daily wisdom to know Your truth, understand Your Word, and live according to Your will. When I am surrounded by ideas that oppose Your commandments, give me clarity to recognize what is false and strength to stand firm against what is evil. I ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen. Freje Randall's gift of dance has taken her around the world. She's performed on the Grammys with Lizzo, the Stellar Awards, and this semester she opened up Actively Black's New York Fashion Week runway show. Freje graduated in spring 2025. She's currently pursuing a masters degree at Texas Southern.

GOOD MORNING…”GOD NEVER FAILS!”
“I looked on my right hand and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul.” (Psalm 142:4)
As believers, we all go through dry seasons where we feel surrounded by lifelessness—at home among unbelieving family, at work where faith is silenced, or even in church where gossip and division replace support. Friends and family may fail us, and even fellow Christians can disappoint, but God never fails. Too often we turn to earthly solutions first because they feel tangible, yet true help comes only from Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of our faith. In times of trouble, remember who we serve and find strength in Him alone. God bless you.

Heavenly Father, thank You that we can always depend on You. When the enemy comes against us and it feels like we have nowhere to turn, remind us that You are our ever-present help in every trouble. Teach us, Lord, not to trust in our own strength but to rely fully on You. In Jesus’ name, Amen. HAVE A BLESSED DAY!
