✨ Monday / Tuesday Lunch Special ✨

Today we start the beginning of another busy week for the kitchen here at the Market. 🍽️ So for features, we are doing some crowd favorites with southern flair.

First up, we have a Fried Green Tomato and Pimento Grilled Cheese, served on a baguette. 🥖 It is hand-breaded green tomatoes and our famous pimento cheese; that’s it. And it’s enough, trust us; this is a filling sandwich, and the soup is equally filling as well. 🍲 We have our leftover Chili from the cook-off this weekend, and it’s topped with a dollop of smoked pimento cheese to tie both together. 🧀

Happy Monday and thanks again for what was maybe our busiest week ever here in the kitchen last week! 🎉

✨ Friday / Saturday Lunch Special ✨

To wrap up the week, we’re excited to share our Crispy Shrimp BLT! 🦐🥓 We’ve got shrimp that’s been hand-breaded and pan-fried, then tossed into our already tasty BLT. And to make it all shine, we’ve got our own house-made Old Bay mayo.

For something lighter, we have a Tomato Tortellini and Spinach Brodo, which is vegetarian and perfect if you’re short on time but still crave a warm meal. 🌿

We’ve got quite a bit to get ready in the kitchen today. Tomorrow is the 🌶️ Chili Cook-off, and you can find our chili at the United Way booth.

Also, tomorrow, we’re hosting our second Snackable Stories, featuring the book Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs. We are also very excited to have Miss Tiffany, WV’s Teacher of the Year as our guest reader. We’re almost completely sold out for the event, but you might still have a chance to grab a ticket today. 📚

✨ Wednesday / Thursday Lunch Special ✨

Welcome to the middle of the week! 🎉 And a very giant thank you to everyone who helped make Monday our highest sales day ever! 🍽️ (In the kitchen.) And with the parking outside being a mess due to the painting, you guys still came in and we are truly grateful. OK, anywho, with that out of the way, let me describe this picture you’re looking at.

Today we have a Grilled Watermelon and Halloumi Cheese Salad with a Red Wine Lemon Vinaigrette. 🥗 The base is spinach and lettuce, topped with pickled red onions, cucumber ribbons, grilled watermelon topped with Tajin, and the star of the show, the grilled Halloumi cheese. Yes, that is cheese on top of the salad, and if you’ve never had it, it’s an absolute must-try. It’s all finished with grilled pistachios and our house-made Red Wine Lemon Vinaigrette. 🍷🍋

The soup is a vegan Chili Lime, Rice and Vegetable Soup that is delicious even with this amazing weather we’ve been having. 🌞
