I had posted myself looking strange on Halloween night in a crazy looking facial mask. I used this one time mask from Sephora. I love this concept of a one time mask that you leave on for 20 minutes. I was attracted to this egg yolk one because I love my egg yolk facial wash. This was a little drying for my drier skin though. Better for a combination Skin type I think. Felt really nice and cooling on skin. There were so many to choose from at sephora I think I will have to try more! Great for traveling!

While I miss my clients and some adult conversations some days I have to say this smile is one cute one to stay home with. Couldn't imagine being anywhere else! Well maybe a complete shower by myself... Someday :)

This is what all people think to do at 9 pm on Halloween night when husband is out and boys are asleep... Right? Masking! Not my Halloween costume but looks scary. Trying something new I will post how I like it later this week.

I am a big believer that cleansing is one of the most important parts of your routine. My sister-in-law discovered this awesome cleansing bar from Kiyi Kiyi. It is a MN company and soaps are all handmade. I started using it when I was pregnant because my skin was acting up and I wanted to have a really healthy skin routine. I have continued with it post baby too because I have loved it so much. My Skin has been really well balanced. The one I have liked is the Egg Drop Soap. Only $7
I honestly cant technically speak to why this soap works... But it does! I would say this is for combination- dry skin types. Do continue to exfoliate. I try to do a enzyme mask or scrub once a week.

For those coconut oil lovers... Try adding just a small amount to a medium coverage liquid foundation. It will make your foundation have less coverage but just add a bit of concealer to areas that need more. This will help with the dryness you may be experiencing, as your skin adjusts to the weather changes. Luminous and natural looking. Also adds in more moisture.

With a toddler and a newborn at home I have mastered the fastest makeup routine I have ever had! Really like the look and feel like I look well rested even though I am for sure not!
1. Good skin to start makes this possible!
2. Mix tinted moisturizer and illumination together. Blend with fingers.
3. Concealer under eyes. Blend with finger
4. Bronzer 1-2 shades darker than skin. Apply liberally with large brush since it matches skin pretty well. No orange faces here :)
5. Apply a perky colored blush to apples. I blend a little over eyelids too with my blush brush so it is very subtle. Just to brighten skin tone.
6. Fill in brows. This is key for me to look alive!
7. Highlight under brow to define arch. Blend with finger. This seams like a extra but only takes 10 seconds and makes a big deference.
8. Curl eyelashes
9. Mascara!
That is it! I haven't timed it but I know it is fast with the amount of time I have these days to look in the mirror.

These are my 2 Favorite products this summer for a QUICK summer glow. Mix in a golden luminizing cream like this Chantecaille liquid lumiere into a tinted moisturizer or foundation. Then use a bronzer that is just 1-2 shades darker than your skin tone like this Chanel Healthy Glow SHeer color on cheeks, temples, nose and down the center if your neck. This has been my go 2 all summer. Quick and easy!

I promise I won't fill this page with kid photos now but today is my first "work" day home with Gavin. Started off by sleeping in till 7:30 and now cartoons and breakfast in bed :)
