✨ What is Myofascial Release?
MFR is a gentle, hands-on technique that focuses on relieving tension in the fascia—the connective tissue surrounding your muscles and organs. By addressing restrictions within the fascia, MFR can help improve your overall flexibility, mobility, and reduce stress levels! It has also known for where emotions and energy get trapped in the body. Myofascial release has helped with mind and body integration.

🏃‍♀️ For Athletes:
Enhance your performance and recovery! MFR can help alleviate muscle tightness, improve range of motion, and prevent injuries, allowing you to train harder and recover faster, great for post injuries.

Do you feel like you've done the work? You meditate, practice affirmations, and engage in shadow work, yet somehow you still feel stuck, as if things aren't flowing the way you want them to?

If this resonates with you, know that you're not alone. Often, when we commit to personal growth, we focus on shifting our mindset, letting go of behavioral patterns, and overcoming limiting beliefs. However, this change often occurs only on a mental level, not from within our bodies, as highlighted in the book *The Body Keeps the Score*.

Working with the body for over a decade has allowed to learned that true mind-body alignment happens when we release the unprocess emotions tied to our experiences from the physical body as well.

When these emotions remain unprocessed, they resonate at specific frequencies, causing you to vibrate at those lower levels—even if you're not consciously aware of it. Thus, even if you have made mental shifts, your body may not have evolved alongside your mind, why? Because the body remembers.

Where do these unprocessed emotions get stored in the body? In your organs, cells and tissue specifically your fascia. The fascia is where unprocessed emotions and energy become trapped. Facilitating the movement of these emotions and energy can move us further in our growth journey.

Once information is released from both the mind and body, you are ready to step into your power and embrace your highest self.

For more information, about the fascia download the free guide available in my bio.

Did you know that your body has the ability to store memories of unprocessed thoughts and emotions? Have you ever heard of the Emotional Peptide Theory by neuroscientist Candace Pert?

🔍 Let’s explore this a little bit. What are Emotional Peptides? Emotional peptides are small protein molecules that serve as chemical messengers in our body. According to Pert, these peptides are linked to our emotions and can influence both our mental and physical states. When we experience emotions, our brain releases these peptides into the bloodstream, where they find their way to various bodily tissues.

When we experience intense emotions from traumatic experiences our bodies may not fully process these feelings as a protection mechanism. Instead, they can get "stuck," leading to physical manifestations like tension, pain, or even illness. The emotional peptides associated with these unresolved feelings linger in our system, contributing to a cycle of emotional and physical discomfort.

📚 How It Works:
1. Emotional Experience: When you feel an emotion, your brain releases specific peptides.
2. Body Response: These peptides travel throughout your body, binding to receptors in various tissues—essentially communicating your emotional state to your cells.
3. Storage of Memories: If emotions aren’t fully processed, they can remain in the body, creating a reservoir of unexpressed feelings that may surface later as anxiety, stress, or physical ailments.

What can we do? Healing through awareness can serve as the first step in beginning to feel in order to heel. Understanding this connection can empower us to process our emotions more effectively. When we allow ourselves to feel, we open the door to understanding. Each emotion is a message, a signal guiding us toward deeper self-awareness and growth. Emotions are not our enemies; they are our allies. They teach us about our needs, our desires, and our boundaries.
