So this just happened. National Women Physician's Day was yesterday. Today was the first day that I knowingly had not just one but two female pilots! I mentioned how excited I was to see them, and here I am! Look at what happens when you give people their flowers. This is the perfect way to bring my to a close. I will post pics from the trip when I arrive home.

Yesterday was a success! We have so many that we had to take shifts at the table. Not only were we able to promote our books, but we raised money for a deserving Hampton student to receive our inaugural Authors Table Scholarship. I’m so proud to be one of them!

Today, we honor Dr. Elizabeth Blackwell, the first female doctor in the United States, as well as Dr. Rebecca Lee Crumpler, the first African American woman to earn a medical degree.

Happy National Women Physicians Day to my fellow sister docs!!
