Your home should feel safe. For aging neighbors in our community, sometimes that means a grab bar in the shower, a patched wall, or a door that finally locks right.

That's exactly what Shepherd's Hand Home Solutions is here for.

We provide free minor home repairs and modifications for Flathead Valley residents age 60+ with economic need — so they can keep living safely and independently in the home they love.

No fees. No cost. Just neighbors helping neighbors.

In Montana, we take care of our neighbors. It's just who we are.

Shepherd's Hand was built on that same belief — that aging adults and people living with disabilities deserve companionship, dignity, and practical support from the people around them.
Our volunteers don't just fill a need. They become a familiar face, a trusted presence, and in many cases, a real friend.

If you're looking for a way to give back that feels meaningful — not just busy — we'd love to have you on our team.

Visit shepherdshand.com to apply today.

Got an errand to run? Bring a neighbor along.

One of the most meaningful ways to volunteer with Shepherd's Hand is through transportation assistance — giving a senior neighbor a reliable ride to a medical appointment, the grocery store, or another essential errand.

For someone without easy access to transportation, that ride can mean the difference between independence and isolation.

If you're already out and about, this might be the volunteer role for you.

The need is great and that is why we know it is important for us to help provide respite for primary caregivers, and to fill gaps for neighbors who do not have family caregivers.
