I've always loved putting flowers in my hair. I noticed something in Sammi's tail and discovered it was a dandelion puff and thought of this quote I came across at some point.

🌾 A little truth from ranch life ☀️

The older I get, the more I realize how true this is — especially out here on the ranch. There’s something grounding about stepping outside before the world wakes up, hearing the animals stir, breathing in that crisp Montana air, and feeling the first warm rays of sun settle across the pasture.

Fresh air carries the sound of horses nickering for breakfast…
Sunshine warms the backs of sleepy calves…
And somewhere between the morning chores and the quiet moments in the barn, life feels simple again — the way it’s meant to.

This land, these animals, the rhythm of each day… they remind me that the best things in life aren’t fancy or complicated. They’re the ones we live close to — the ones we can feel in our bones.
Here’s to fresh air, sunshine, and the beautiful, honest life we get to raise out here.
