Over the last year, behind the scenes, myself and a small group of birthworkers spent hundreds of hours planning, coordinating and working to bring CAPPA Childbirth & Postpartum conference back to life, and last week we convened in Philly for the main event!

The 2026 CAPPA Convening was alive with energy and passion from amazing speakers, thoughtful attendees and dedicated providers.

A huge shoutout to our Convening team for making this possible and especially to our leader and CAPPA CEO Delighted to Doula for not letting us drop the vision or give up on our goal of bringing birthworkers together to change the future of family support in America.
