I must admit I was skeptical but hopeful about hypnosis as a means of addressing my impulsive eating. One of my friends had great success with hypnosis for smoking cessation, but several people had told me that eating issues were a different ‘beast’ altogether. Like so many others who struggle with weight loss issues, I’d worked with more than my share of nutritionists, self-help gurus and diet counselors over the years.
