Because Intention Matters — On Both Sides of the Table
I always encourage self-care for my clients… and I want to reassure you that I practice what I preach.
For the past 8 years I’ve regularly seen Melissa Leah, LMT of C & M Therapeutic Services LLC in Whitesboro, TX — and I still go monthly. I also make it a point to experience different therapists because every practitioner has their own unique style and effect.
Some of the wonderful therapists I’ve worked with include:
• Cassie Mackey, LMT of Wildflower Wellness & Apothecary in Anna, TX
• Alec Davis, LMT and Certified Instructor of Hands Massage Institute in Richardson, TX
And this Tuesday I’ll be visiting Jessica Goldfield, LMT of of Self in Denton, TX to try out some of the new modalities she offers.
Care comes in many forms, and intention truly matters. As a massage therapist, my goal is to give every client the best recovery and relief possible. That means I also need to be a client myself — to stay connected to how it feels to be on the table and to keep learning.
I look forward to sharing about my next session and I encourage everyone to speak up about how a massage session made you feel. Your feedback helps us all grow.
Taking care of yourself isn’t selfish — it’s necessary.
