To everyone out there that has dealt with something chronic, please know that you are not alone, and I understand all of the painful experiences that feed what feels like a never ending cycle.

There's a reason why we are drawn to similar experiences with different faces. Even if what we are experiencing isn't favorable or having a positive impact on us. Patterns repeat until we unravel them and face them and end them.

On a consultation this morning, my heart broke, like it often does.

I listened to a beautiful woman talk about all of the things that she silently carries and wishes for. In that hour, I heard and felt a lifetime of conditioned behavior, pain, and responses.

She, like many women I meet, does it all. For her kids. Her husband. Everyone. Just be "strong," push through, keep the smile on your face, and never act like anything is wrong. It's your "duty." Your role as a woman. A longstanding generational pattern and limitation.

She's worked with several professionals in her lifetime, all of who also overlooked the abuse, manipulation, and coercion in her marriage.

And if there is one thing that is a complete deal breaker for me as a professional, is anyone that overlooks and enables abuse and neglect in any form, which is more common than not unfortunately.

Your strength is not measured by how much you tolerate, avoid or repress. True strength is being Clearly Connected, and I can't wait to get her started on the journey.

I have some messengers today! 😮 Perfectly timed.

Seeing two bald eagles perched together on a tree branch is often interpreted spiritually as a sign of:

Stability and Strength: The tree symbolizes grounding, roots, and wisdom. The eagles are not in motion; they are resting, observing, and conserving energy. This can suggest a time to trust where you are rather than forcing the next step.

Partnership with Purpose: Two eagles perched side by side can symbolize a relationship, friendship, or alliance that provides mutual support and perspective.

Higher Perspective: Eagles see far beyond what is immediately in front of them. Perched in a tree, they remind you to look at the bigger picture before making decisions.

If your child was suffering on any level, right before your eyes, would you see them? Hear them? Help them? Care about your impact?

In prep for an interview, today I pulled out my highschool time capsule again (aka box of overlooked red flags). I found the paperwork that was sent home from school and thrown in the trash when I was 70 pounds from anorexia and bulimia, a response to what was happening in my life on a number of different levels behind closed doors.

"Just shut the hell up and eat."
"So help me if I find out you're talking about this."

I had been threatened countless times to not speak, and mocked if I showed emotion or expressed how I felt. I didn't have a single, safe person in my life to turn to for help or that wanted to take the risk in their own lives to get involved.

So there I was left.

Alone. Unseen. Unheard. Neglected. Suffering. Controlled. Silent. I wasn't deserving of care or love, but had to perform and give it to everyone? My heart and inner world was shattered, and I felt like a ghost that was just floating above my life, not actually living it.

This of course led to a whole plethora of other issues that rippled into many different aspects of my life, health, relationships, money, career, etc.; and after years of hard work and commitment, the eventual creation of Clearly Connected.

Many people value their comfort and stories over the life and safety of another human being, no matter who it is. The truth is too threatening for those that have been running from it their whole lives. But it is the truth that will set you free.

I'm sorry to everyone that had systems of all kinds fail them.

What does nighttime represent to you?

Is it peace and safety?
Chaos and uncertainty?
Fear and anxiety?
Intimacy and closeness?
Distance and loneliness?

I worked hard for it to represent peace and safety in my life, both externally and internally.

For years I dealt with nightmares and flashbacks and everything else that comes along with a lifetime of terror and trauma being stuck inside you. I still struggle with sleep at times, but for different reasons now.

How did I get through it?
How do I help my clients create the lives they deserve, on any level?

Reminder: In case your mind is playing tricks on you today, you are loved and you are not too much.

You've played small long enough to adapt to others comfort, but their limitations and capacity is not your identity or weight to carry.

With each new level of Clearly Connected awareness, anything that has been blocking your progress and growth is removed.

And you you deserve to live your most Clearly Connected life, on all levels. Hold on tight.
