What’s it like to put hours into creating a workshop, pour your energy into it, have people register… and then have no one show up?
Honestly?
I could have taken it personally.
I could have let it take the wind out of my sails.
And yes, I felt it.
But then I remembered what the workshop was actually called: Living the Philosophy.
Maybe this was the class. Not the one I planned. Not the one I prepared for. But the one I was given.
Because when I said I was going from awareness to embodiment, I meant it.
Embodiment is recognizing what you’re feeling without letting that feeling decide what it means.
It’s remembering that it’s back-to-school season. That the energy these last couple of weeks has been wild. That life’s been lifin’ for a lot of people.
It’s choosing not to turn an empty room into a story about my worth or the value of the work.
So I taught the class anyway. And maybe that’s what Living the Philosophy actually looks like.
Not knowing the right thing to do in theory. But practicing it when you’re actually in the moment.
