well time flies when you’re having fun… or working on opening a yoga studio 😉 just getting a chance to post about my yoga retreat 7/31-8.2. wow, just wow.

HELLO AUGUST VERMONT YOGA RETREAT 🧘‍♀️

we released by the fire, ate vegan ayurvedic indian/western cuisine, experienced guided nature bathing, so much yoga and meditation. sat in the shala for an hour practicing our abhyanga oiling. blasted off under a meditation sound bath with a 7 foot gong. enjoyed solitude. enjoyed conversation. practiced not being busy. and well, the rest of the details are sacred 😆

leading my third yoga retreat at 30, is truly such an honor. the ceilings are constantly changing and growing taller for me. I dreamed about this life 10 years ago. however, the gratitude I have about my own life path is such a minuscule focus of what I want to share here.

I am so grateful for the students who decide to trust me, and mostly themselves. to show up somewhere they have never been, with people they do not know, and trust that I have their back. this is the entire mission of jess be here.

there are the dualities of life: life’s inevitable happiness, bliss, the excitement!! life’s inevitable pain, confusion or suffering. we walk our individual paths alone, yet at the same time, we can find ways to hold whatever “it” is, together.
how would we possibly recognize one without the other?
can we find the earth beneath our feet between it all?
this is our observant yogic practice.

can I also just give a crazy big shoutout to shannon who has attended all three retreats I’ve run?! shannon - none of them would’ve been the same without you. ♥️🔥

Practice with us all August long before we take a brief pause for the Jess Be Here Yoga Studio transition, Sep 1–11, 2026! We are so grateful to be on this journey with you.

There is so much coming up in fall 2026, into 2027 and beyond, and we cannot wait to share it with you. Whitman Wellness Center has always been a home and a hub for this community, and that will only continue to grow!!

For now, here is everything you need to know about class passes, valid through August 31, 2026:

We brought the 5-class pass back! We know some of you hold off on a 10 pass if you are not sure you will use it, so this is a lighter way to get your classes in!

One important note: all passes must be used by August 31 and will not carry into the jess be here fall schedule. If you hold multiple passes you may not be able to use in time, such as stacked monthly or unlimited yearly passes, please reach out to Cara by email before the 31st so we can take care of you personally. After that date, we will no longer have access to your MINDBODY account to see those balances.

Gift cards:  After August 31, WWC gift cards can no longer be used for Yoga classes. They can still be used for WWC treatments and certifications.

if you recognize the address: that’s because the “torch” is being passed to me from whitman wellness center. their last yoga class is august 31, and yoga at 629 washington will now live completely under jess be here. (WWC isn’t going anywhere though - yoga teacher training, education and treatments will still live here in the same shared space through whitman wellness center!)

I’ll be spending september 1–11 giving the space a total jess be here makeover — a space I’m so grateful to call mine, but also yours. a third space. somewhere you can come and just be here — and just be you.
