The Wichita Black Nurses Association (WBNA) continues to turn advocacy into action!

We were honored to partner with Executive Director Danielle Johnson to host our Mobile TCE Testing Clinic, bringing valuable testing resources directly into the community.

Danielle Johnson participated in testing and graciously gave permission for us to share her experience. We’re grateful for her leadership, partnership, and commitment to the health and well-being of our community.

We were also honored to welcome Council Member Joseph Shepherd, who stopped by to connect with the team and get an up-close look at the WBNA’s TCE Clinic operations.

This is what community health looks like—showing up, raising awareness, building partnerships, and taking action.

Together, we can make a difference. Together, we can help protect the health of our community.

Have you lived, worked or spent time near the 29th and Grove area? Then, you should get tested for TCE (trichloroethylene)!

The Wichita Black Nurses Association will be conducting FREE health testing for people who may have been exposed to TCE from contaminated groundwater. A testing site will be available TOMORROW (August 22) between 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at Wichita Habitat for Humanity, located at 2220 N. Opportunity Dr. Wichita, KS 67219.

No insurance is required.
