Meet Elisabeth — owner, mentor, and heart behind ICT Lactation. 🤍
Elisabeth has been a nurse for 16.5 years, has worked in lactation for 10 years, she has been an IBCLC for 8.5 years, and has owned ICT Lactation for 8 years.

Her approach to care is rooted in empathy, understanding, and meeting families exactly where they are.

She knows firsthand that feeding your baby doesn’t always go the way you imagined. Elisabeth has been there in the trenches, navigating feeding struggles with each of her own daughters. Those experiences shaped not only her path into lactation, but also the way she cares for every family who walks through the door.

When your infant is struggling to feed, it can feel overwhelming, emotional, and exhausting. Elisabeth wants moms to know they don’t have to navigate those moments alone. Her goal is to listen, help uncover what may be contributing to the challenges, and create a plan that feels realistic for you, your baby, and your family.

Beyond caring for families, Elisabeth also loves mentoring and leading the ICT Lactation team so that every family receives thoughtful, compassionate, evidence-based support.

For Elisabeth, lactation care isn’t about achieving one “perfect” feeding outcome—it’s about helping you feel heard, supported, informed, and confident in the decisions you make for your family. 🫶

We’re so proud of the women who make ICT Lactation what it is. Each person brings her own strengths, experience, and heart to the team, and together we’re here to support moms and families through every stage of their feeding journey.

✨ Elisabeth — Owner, mentor, and leader of the team. She’s the heart behind ICT Lactation and the one who keeps the vision moving forward.

✨ Morgan — Elisabeth’s right-hand lady and our amazing virtual admin. She helps keep things organized behind the scenes and makes sure so many of the little details come together.

✨ Kaylee — IBCLC, offering a listening ear and encouragement to help moms feel supported and confident in their feeding journey.

✨ Susan — RN, IBCLC, combining her nursing background with lactation expertise to care for moms and babies.

Black Breastfeeding Week 2026 🤎✨

Every year, August 25–31 marks Black Breastfeeding Week. A time to celebrate, uplift, and honor the experiences of Black breastfeeding families. 🤱🏾

Founded in 2013 by Kimberly Seals Allers, Kiddada Green, and Anayah Sangodele-Ayoka, Black Breastfeeding Week was created to bring greater attention to disparities in breastfeeding rates, promote the health benefits of breastfeeding, and center the voices and experiences of Black families.

Over the years, this movement has helped spark greater visibility, representation, education, community support, and conversations around equity and culturally responsive lactation care. And while there is still work to do, the progress matters. 💗

At ICT Lactation, we believe every family deserves to feel seen, supported, respected, and empowered throughout their feeding journey.

This week, we celebrate the mothers, babies, partners, families, lactation professionals, advocates, and communities helping create a healthier, more equitable future one feeding journey at a time.

These two girls are WHY ICT Lactation exists. 🤍

My journey with each of them is what first made me believe there had to be more support available for moms and families.

Both of my breastfeeding journeys came with challenges—some similar, some completely different. And through each experience, one thing became so clear to me: support means everything.

Moms deserve to feel heard. They deserve encouragement, education, reassurance, and someone in their corner when feeding doesn’t go exactly as planned.

That desire for better support stayed with me as I entered the lactation world, and eventually, ICT Lactation was born.

What started from my own experiences as a mom has grown into something I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside other moms and families during such an important season of their lives.

These two will always be at the heart of the “why” behind ICT Lactation. 🫶

Because every mom deserves support. Every feeding journey matters. And no one should have to figure it all out alone. 🤍
