Day 4 of Nursing Home Week was full of sweet treats and smiles! Staff and residents enjoyed delicious root beer floats provided by Harry Hynes Hospice. For spirit day, everyone showed up in something comfy or something that made them feel confident—and we loved seeing everyone’s unique style shine!
Day 5 was all about good vibes! We had a blast listening to great music, enjoying happy hour, and celebrating our hippie/tie-dye spirit day. It’s been such a fun week making memories with our residents and staff! 💙✌️🌈

As we wrap up Nurses Week, we want to take a moment to recognize just how important our nurses are to our team. Their compassion, dedication, and hard work make a difference every single day, and we are so grateful for all they do for our residents and our facility. Thank you for everything you do! 💙👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️

☀️ Day 3 of Nursing Home Week was full of sunshine and smiles! ☀️
Today we celebrated Sunshine Day for spirit week, and our building was definitely glowing with bright colors and happy faces! 😎🌞
Residents cooled off with delicious snow cones generously provided by Phoenix Home Care and Hospice🍧 Thank you for helping make our day extra sweet!
We also put our knowledge to the test with a fun round of Decades Trivia and had everyone laughing during a lively game of The Price is Right with Crys from ACG Hospice! 🎤🛒💰
From sweet treats to friendly competition, today was another wonderful day making memories together. ❤️

Nursing Home Week is off to a wonderful start! 🎉💛
Day 1: We kicked things off with live music from Tom Nestor, and he had the whole room singing along and enjoying every minute! 🎶
Day 2: Our residents were treated to some delicious food from Johnnie’s Kitchen 🍽️ followed by refreshing lemonade with Kristen from Heartland Hospice 🍋 We also spent time outside enjoying some fun outdoor games and beautiful weather! ☀️
So many smiles, laughs, and special memories already—and we’re just getting started! Stay tuned for more fun throughout the week. 💙

Today was truly one for the books. Our building was filled with family members as they joined us for our “Moments in Bloom” photo shoot, and what an incredible day it was! 🌸📸
We had an absolute blast creating special memories with our residents and their loved ones. In the hustle of daily caregiving, it’s important to remember that the individuals we care for once managed busy lives of their own—raising families, working hard, and handling everyday tasks independently. Today was a beautiful reminder of who they are beyond their care needs.
Watching our ladies smile, laugh, and feel beautiful after having their hair and makeup done was something truly special. The joy on their faces made every moment worth it, and it was such a rewarding experience that I’ll never forget.
A huge thank you to the amazing people who worked behind the scenes to make this event possible. I’m incredibly grateful for this team—our DON Gina, her daughter, Susan our SSD, her son JR for capturing these beautiful moments behind the camera, and her daughter Tori. Plus many more volunteers that donated jewelry. I couldn’t ask for a better group of people to work alongside. ❤️
Days like today remind us why we do what we do. 🌷 These are just a few behind the scenes pictures. Keep watch for the edited ones to come in a few weeks ❤️❤️
