Meet Storm, the sweetest grey boy waiting for his forever home 🌪️🩶

He’s blind in one eye and mostly sees shadows, but that doesn't slow him down for a second. Storm is pure affection! He sees straight into your soul with all that love and will happily headbutt his way right into your lap for chin scratches! 🙌🏽

🐱 Cats: Great with feline friends!

🐶 Dogs: Unsure, but could thrive with a slow, patient introduction.

Coal is a total cuddle bug with these cute wittle cauliflower ears, but don’t worry, he can hear your love crystal clear 🥹✨

He was surrendered to the SPCA at no fault of his own, due to a landlord issue.

Sometimes we wonder what our path in life is meant to be. I think we have many, and one of mine is simply loving and saving animals.

A lot of people don’t see my quiet daily work behind it. Out on my street, I trap and neuter community cats and care for the injured ones who need immediate medical help.

At home, I foster directly through Animal Control and the SPCA of Luzerne County here in Wilkes-Barre, taking in dogs who have been through so much, helping them heal, and finding them families who see them for the whole, beautiful beings they are. Because they truly deserve to be loved.

And the ones still waiting in shelter kennels? They never asked to be there. They’re just waiting, hoping someone comes back for them.

I want to use my platform to build a gentle community around animal welfare, adoptions, and fighting for better laws to protect them.

Let’s change the landscape for these sweet animals, together. 🐾♥️🐾

We snagged some of the delightful cookies from Lady G’s Creations at the counter to complete our outing. The Strawberry Crunch cookie is a nostalgic throwback to the Good Humor ice cream bar we all loved as kids.

These two powerhouse makers are nothing the sleep on!

The 2026 Rescue Calendar is still live on the website! Every single dollar goes directly to the SPCA of Luzerne County’s Angel Fund—a severely underfunded program that covers vet care so families facing financial hardship don't have to surrender their pets.

Shelter cages are full, but together we can keep pets with the people who love them.
