As Nursing Home Week comes to a close today, we reflect on a week full of laughter, appreciation, and unforgettable “Moments in Bloom.” At Almond View, our team embraced every opportunity to celebrate together through fun dress-up days including Disney Day, Twin Day, Sports Day, Decades Day, and Almond View T-Shirt Day.

From delicious nachos to ice cream sandwiches and everything in between, each day brought smiles, connection, and a reminder of how special this team truly is. We are incredibly grateful to work alongside such dedicated, compassionate, and spirited individuals who make Almond View feel like more than a workplace it feels like family.

To all of our friends and colleagues working in nursing homes everywhere, thank you for the care, heart, and commitment you bring each day. May the spirit of Nursing Home Week stay with you all year long. 💙

October was one for the books at Almond View Care Center! 🍂

Our team packed the month with celebration, community, and connection:

🧡 We kicked things off with a Director Team Bonding Day at the pumpkin patch a perfect chance to pause and pour into each other.

💜 Several of our amazing team members proudly walked in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, and we hosted a table to support families and raise awareness.

🎨 Our staff enjoyed a fun Paint & Sip (minus the sip, plus a delicious dinner!) an activity chosen by our team and a big hit!

🚗👻 We joined the festivities at Trunk or Treat, and welcomed 400+ school kids who visited our very own pumpkin patch on campus!

📚 A heartfelt thank-you to CCOE’s Literacy for All Program for gifting us a Halloween book that brought big smiles to our residents.

🏥 And one of the highlights of the month our Facility Halloween Decorating Competition! Our teams went all out, transforming their areas with creativity, spooky fun, and incredible teamwork. The photos say it all!

✨ October showed us just how strong, caring, and spirited our Almond View family is. Here’s to carrying that momentum into the rest of the year!

We were honored to walk in support of those impacted by Alzheimer’s and to help raise awareness for such an important cause. A special thank you to Julie Hall and our dedicated team members who came out to represent Almond View Care Center with enthusiasm and compassion.
