Yesterday, Jake visited Mrs. Woodrum’s health science classes at Casey County ATC! Students started with an introduction to Southern KY AHEC, learning about our organization and how we can serve as a resource throughout their high school careers.

Students also participated in a hands-on suturing activity, exploring healthcare careers that perform suturing and learning the basics of the simple interrupted suture technique. We love providing students with opportunities to explore healthcare careers and gain hands-on experience!

Jake was at Estill County ATC today, giving students a hands-on look at suturing techniques while also promoting the ARC Pipeline programs. It was a great opportunity to introduce students to healthcare careers and the pathways available to help them reach their goals!

A big thank you to Mrs. Rhodes at Corbin ATC for allowing us to visit her classes over the past couple of weeks!

Last week, we led a hands-on suturing activity with her students. Today, we returned to lead a dissection with her Anatomy & Body Structures classes.

We always appreciate the opportunity to work with students and provide hands-on experiences that help them explore careers in healthcare!

Getting to cross the street for a site visit is no less exciting than getting to cross counties! We got to stop in with some students rotating right here in Rockcastle this week. We saw medical students Tori and Christine as they rotate with RockPeds and Rockcastle Family Wellness!
