🤩 Still reeling from annual conference in Anaheim.

✨Presentations on Faith and Intimacy by and our amazing keynote speaker .
✨Met up with my doctoral committee member who’s supported me for years!
✨Spent time with who volunteered at the event.
And can’t forget our amazing visit to with my grad school bestie Holly ☺️

☺️ So honored to speak with Jessica Dobson about OTs role in Perimenopause and Menopause. Humbled by the turnout and grateful for the OT communities’ response and engagement during the presentation who feel seen, validated, and empowered. This started as a very personal journey, and created a passion and fire to support others. One audience member shouted “secret” as a word related to “menopause”. This isn’t a time to keep things to yourself-it’s a time to break down walls and foster community, not stigma.

If you are navigating the perimenopause/menopause transition, you’re not alone. There’s support for you! Education on how/why the body is responding, interventions for pain, body changes, sleep, bowel, bladder, seggsual health, mental health, nutrition, exercise and more. This is a time to feel supported, not isolated.
