🌻Let me ask you a question: how many appointments do Mom and Baby have in the first month postpartum? Unfortunately, probably too many to count!

🤱One of the beautiful things I see when I have in-home lactation and craniosacral visits are Mom, Dad, and Baby chillin' in their own space. Want to practice a new breastfeeding position in your bed or in a chair that you haven't tried out yet?🛏 Perfect, let's do it! Still in your jammies at 9:30 in the morning? No worries. Be as comfortable as you'd like. When you hire me to come into your home there's no judgement.

If this sounds appealing to you, DM for details on how you can have a comfortable and relaxed in- home visit!😄

This is so true! Babies can't be lazy. They are telling us that feeding is hard and they are tired. Meaghan explains it so eloquently below.

The Fertility & Motherhood Yoga Collective

Sundays | 3:00 to 4:30 PM
Earth, Silk & Spice Studio

Whether you are hoping to conceive, growing your baby, or finding your footing in motherhood, you deserve a space where your whole experience is welcome.

The Fertility & Motherhood Yoga Collective is a weekly gathering created by fertility coach and yoga teacher Annelise and birth doula Laurene to support women through every season of the reproductive journey. Together, we offer education, movement, community, and compassionate support in a warm, judgment-free environment.

This is more than a yoga class. It is a place to be seen, heard, and held alongside other women who understand the joys, questions, griefs, hopes, and transformations that accompany fertility, pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum years.

Each 90-minute class includes:

* A welcoming sharing circle where you can connect, reflect, and receive support.
* Gentle, intentional yoga designed to meet you exactly where you are, whether you’re trying to conceive, pregnant, or postpartum.
* Breathwork and nervous system regulation practices to cultivate resilience, reduce stress, and encourage deep restoration.
* Meditation and mindfulness to reconnect with yourself and your growing intuition.
* Pelvic floor awareness and functional movement to support your changing body through every stage.
* Practical wisdom from both a fertility coach and birth doula, woven naturally into each week’s theme.

Our intention is to create a community where women no longer have to navigate these experiences alone. We believe healing happens in relationship, that movement can be medicine, and that every woman’s path into motherhood deserves compassion, respect, and support.

Whether you arrive carrying hope, uncertainty, new life, or a baby in your arms, there is a place for you here.

Come exactly as you are. Leave feeling stronger, calmer, and connected to yourself and your community.

All experience levels are welcome. Modifications and variations are offered throughout class for those trying to conceive, every stage of pregnancy, and postpartum recovery.

Hey Bloomsburg/Danville followers, check out this great opportunity for community and connection!

Babies ❤️ Myofascial Release, especially when they are experiencing discomfort in their body from positioning in utero, labor, birth, ect...

💜 Baby Reflux: Looking Beyond the Stomach

If your baby struggles with reflux, frequent spit-up, arching, crying during feeds, or difficulty settling, the stomach may not be the only place to look.

Birth is a tremendous event for a baby’s body. Even a smooth delivery can create tension throughout the fascia—the body’s three-dimensional connective tissue network that surrounds and supports every muscle, nerve, organ, and blood vessel.

When fascial restrictions develop, they may create strain around the:
✨ Mouth, tongue, and jaw
✨ Throat and upper esophagus
✨ Diaphragm
✨ Rib cage and chest
✨ Esophagus and stomach
✨ Upper abdomen and surrounding connective tissue

These restrictions can affect how comfortably your baby swallows, breathes, digests, and self-regulates.

In the John F. Barnes Approach to Myofascial Release, we don’t chase the symptom—we evaluate the whole baby.

Gentle, sustained Myofascial Release may help:
💜 Reduce fascial restrictions around the digestive system
💜 Improve ease of swallowing and feeding
💜 Support diaphragmatic breathing
💜 Calm the nervous system
💜 Improve overall comfort and regulation
💜 Help babies feed, rest, and settle more comfortably

Every baby is different, and reflux can have many contributing factors. Myofascial Release can be a valuable complementary approach for babies experiencing fascial restrictions after birth. Releasing tension from being in womb and labor and delivery.

Sometimes the body simply needs the opportunity to unwind, soften, and remember how to function with greater ease.

Because when we treat the whole baby—not just the reflux—we often discover the body already knows the way toward healing. 💜
