LifeHouse Pgh, has a profoundly positive impact on the students involved, and by extension, on the community of the community itself.

LifeHouse Pgh wants to help students. As people who desire to serve in a variety of ways with LifeHouse Pgh they have to have a similar foundation mind set. This is not about putting a band-aide over the problems in our world but instead bringing holistic healing. Whether you donate a pack of paper or give an hour each week of time, or give financially, or whether area part the board we want every

one to be on the same page. We want students to know that each time an adult walks through the doors and is serving with LifeHouse Pgh that they will be offering caring relationships, that they will have high expectations and that they will help to promote opportunities for participation. It is important that students have these three areas in there life for them to feel that they are not just another student but instead that they hand-crafted and designed with a great purpose.

Thank you to those special 20 people who made our first Raise the Region successful. We ended the event with $825. If you would like to contribute and did not want to do it through Raise the Region, you can contact us and we can talk about how you can still give a donation. Thank you again for those who gave. Good Morning,
As you might be aware I been working hard the past few years to get an after-school program off the ground. Unfortunately the past few months have made this very difficult. HOWEVER, I have been able to use technology to still do a lot. One of the coolest things was helping a student to enroll a student back in high school. She will now be able to graduate in June. I have also been able to help students with college applications. Face Book has been great at helping me to connect too many students in a judgment free zone. I love that students feel a freedom to talk to me about EVERYTHING. I come alive when I work with students. Today, I am asking for your help so that I can continue working with students. Tonight at 6 pm-tomorrow at midnight LifeHouse Pgh and other organizations are participating in Raise the Region. Will you consider helping and making a $25 donation on behalf of LifeHouse Pgh?
