Hello all! This is Amanda, I was the Marketing Volunteer with Relay for Life of Mendocino County. At this time, I'd like to inform you we currently do not have an event happening this year. We also did not have an event last year (2021). The COVID-19 pandemic has completely shifted our event. We do not have volunteers or a designated staff partner. Funding became very limited. Lots of changes had to be made in 2020 so cancer patients could be properly supported.

If you'd like to make a donation to the American Cancer Society, I encourage you to do so at cancer.org. You can also search for an event at secure.acsevents.org to get involved. There are many ways you can safely volunteer! Many hands make light the work, we hope you can get involved today.
We will work on updates as soon as they are received.

Today is - donate to the American Cancer Society to further support cancer treatment and services. COVID-19 has forced a halt to many of the services ACS provides, as well as regular care and check ups. Cancer never stops, so neither can we.

The 2020 Relay for Life season may be over, but we are already gearing up for Relay 2021! Although we do not know what the future holds for us in a global pandemic, our passion for fundraising and spreading the word about cancer has not slowed down. Register today at relayforlife.org/mendocinocountyca and learn about what you can do to fight against this disease. You can join or form a fundraising team, sign up as a participant or Team Captain and keep track of your fundraising efforts and much more! You can also download the app “FUNdraising” to easily fundraise through social media.

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused a significant delay in cancer screenings. There is no better time than right now to take care of yourself! As offices open up and more appointments are available, talk with your doctor about proactive measures you can take. Cancer screenings are an important part of preventive care.
