Me putting out a fire as part of the CERT training. He built me a BIG one since I went last and I’m an instructor.
Every time I do this, my adrenaline spikes and I get a little scared. I was shaking while pulling the extinguisher pin. It takes a few guts to walk toward a fire. I couldn’t let the students down so suppressed my feelings and did it.
Respect to ALL who are trained to run toward the danger and keep the rest of us safe.

Finally carving the sea shells and rocks I drag home from everywhere.
My first 2 shells and rock (in progress)
Not to bag for beginner.
I just carved away everything that wasn’t the turtle I was envisioning.
NOTE: when carving shells be sure to wear eye and respiratory cover. The dust can make you very sick. Watch a few YouTube videos before you start, then break out the supplies and have fun.
