Orbit Research was delighted to participate in Empower Conference 2026, held at IIT Delhi from 2nd–4th October 2026.
It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with the visually impaired community, accessibility professionals, educators, organizations, and assistive technology enthusiasts from across the country.
Our booth saw great engagement throughout the event, with visitors getting hands-on experience with our range of affordable Braille displays, DAISY players, tactile graphic solutions, calculators, and other assistive technologies.
• The Orbit Player generated significant interest, including discussions around the VOSAP subsidy program, making accessible reading technology more affordable.
• The Orbit Flow 40 also received an excellent response, with visitors particularly appreciating its compact design and ease of reading.
A big thank you to everyone who visited our booth, interacted with our team, experienced our products, and shared their valuable feedback. Events like Empower give us an opportunity not only to showcase our innovations but also to better understand the evolving needs of the community we serve.
We return from IIT Delhi encouraged by the response and even more committed to our mission of delivering Innovations in Affordable Accessibility.
See you at the next one!

We were delighted to exhibit at the National Federation of the Blind (NFB) Convention, held this year in Austin, Texas. As one of the world's largest gatherings of visually impaired individuals, educators, advocates, families, and accessibility professionals, the convention provided an excellent platform to connect with the community and showcase our latest products.

Our booth welcomed a steady stream of visitors who experienced hands-on demonstrations of our newest offerings (the Orbit Flow and Strata devices) and beloved classic products.

Thank you to everyone who visited our booth! We look forward to seeing those of you who couldn't make it at our next two conventions of the summer: the ACB and AER.

We are delighted to congratulate Sarah Moin on her extraordinary achievement of scoring 98.75% in the ISC Class 12 examinations and emerging as a college topper.
Her story is far bigger than marks alone. It is a story of perseverance, resilience, family support, dedicated teachers, and the belief that disability should never define a person’s potential.
We are humbled that the Orbit Reader could play a small role in supporting her education and helping her independently access books, assignments, and examinations in braille.
Sarah, your achievement is inspiring students, parents, teachers, and the entire accessibility community across India and beyond. We wish you the very best as you work toward your dream of joining the civil services and serving society.
Congratulations once again from all of us at Orbit Research. Stories like Sarah’s motivate us to continue our mission of expanding accessibility through technology, and we are honored to have been a small part of her journey.
