ChristianaCare’s Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program can aid in stabilizing and even improving the symptoms of lung disease, including shortness of breath, coughing, fatigue, anxiety and depression for those with COPD, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary fibrosis, lung transplant, lung volume reduction surgery and other conditions that affect breathing. d specially trained respiratory therapists and exercise physiologists will help you return to your highest level of function through education, exercise and functional activities. Our Medical Director, Dr. Mazen Kreidy, board-certified in critical care medicine, pulmonary disease and internal medicine, leads our team in your care. Have an action plan in case of power outages and flooding ☔️. Charge phones 📱📶and oxygen batteries 🔋 . Make sure your back up oxygen tanks have working regulators. Check that your flashlights 🔦 are accessible and working. Keep safe and dry!

SEVERE STORMS MONDAY
We've issued an AccuWeather Alert for Monday afternoon into Monday evening as our region is expected to experience severe storms.

There will be scattered showers and downpours in the morning as our humidity levels start to climb. Along with that, strong southerly winds develop with 40-50mph gusts possible.

We'll be watching as severe storms develop west to east during the afternoon. We're looking at the window of 3pm-9pm. Our greatest risk will be damaging wind gusts produced by these storms. Along with that, the additional moisture in the atmosphere will produce downpours that can lead to instances of localized flooding. The tornado threat is elevated for Monday, so please stay tuned for updates and make sure you have a way to get weather alerts.
