So, I uploaded several transcripts of conversations and sessions into AI…

…and asked it to provide a blueprint of my understanding and perception of ALL THAT IS in my own voice. 🧐

Here’s what it gave me. 🫪😆🫣

A Working Map of Consciousness as Understood by 👉this gal👈, August 13, 2026

Before I attempt to explain my current understanding of consciousness, souls, dimensions, guides, attachments, and the many other things we encounter in this work, I want to make something very clear: I do not know how the universe works.

Neither does anyone else currently occupying a human body.

What I have is a working model, developed through my own mystical and near-death experiences, years of study, and the patterns I have noticed while facilitating a couple thousand sessions. Some aspects of this model feel very clear to me. Others remain speculative, and all of it is subject to revision as I continue learning.

I am sharing it because having a map can help us orient ourselves when clients begin describing experiences that fall outside our ordinary understanding of reality. I am not sharing it as a doctrine you are expected to adopt. You are welcome to borrow what resonates, question what does not, and build a framework that reflects your own experiences and discernment.

Source, Souls, and Fractalized Consciousness

At the highest level, everything appears to be Source consciousness. I sense that Source fractalizes itself into innumerable expressions so it can experience existence from an extraordinary variety of perspectives.

Some of these expressions are what we call souls. A soul may then further fractalize into individual lifetimes and other experiences of consciousness. The part of a soul embodied as Kryssa in this lifetime is not the whole of my soul. It is one expression of something much larger.

I do not use the word fractal to suggest that a soul has been broken, damaged, or diminished. Each fractal remains part of the whole, just as your toe remains part of your body even though it has no awareness of what your liver is doing. Fractalized consciousness can apparently reintegrate, bringing the wisdom and experience of its individual expressions back into the greater whole.

This working model helps me understand how a deceased loved one may remain available to us in a nonphysical state even if another aspect of that soul has already reincarnated. It also allows for the possibility that multiple expressions of one soul may be having simultaneous or parallel experiences. Linear time may be far more characteristic of our current human perception than of consciousness itself.

The Higher Self

I currently understand the Higher Self as a larger field of consciousness of which the human personality is one part. We do not each possess a Higher Self in the way we possess an organ or an object. It may be more accurate to say that our present human consciousness exists within it.

Using the body analogy, a toe is part of the body, but the whole body is not contained within the toe. The Higher Self may be capable of perceiving our current incarnation, other incarnations, and layers of reality that our human senses cannot access directly.

Based on what I have experienced in sessions, the immediate Higher Self seems to exist somewhere within what we might describe as fifth- through seventh-dimensional consciousness. I use those numbers as conceptual markers, not as scientifically established coordinates.

Dimensions and Perception

My current model suggests that dimensions may represent progressively more inclusive capacities for perception. A being limited to a flat, two-dimensional world would have no natural way to comprehend the fullness of a three-dimensional being. The three-dimensional being, however, could perceive the two-dimensional world.

In a similar way, consciousness operating from a higher dimension may be capable of perceiving the dimensions beneath it, while those of us experiencing three-dimensional embodiment and four-dimensional time cannot fully perceive what exists beyond our current sensory range.

This may help explain why guides, Higher Selves, angelic consciousness, and other nonphysical intelligences sometimes appear to know far more about our lives than we do. Their perspective may simply include more of the landscape.

Guides, Angels, Ancestors, and Other Helpers

Many clients become aware of unseen support during sessions. They may encounter spirit guides, ancestral helpers, an inner healer, a Higher Self, deceased loved ones, or other forms of benevolent consciousness.

A smaller percentage of my clients spontaneously become aware of a specific connection with what they identify as the Angelic Realm. This does not necessarily mean that only a few people have angelic support. It only means that relatively few of my clients have consciously encountered it during sessions.

Some expressions of Source consciousness may be angelic and may never have incarnated physically. Other helpers may have lived human lives. I do not assume that every client will use the same language or interpret these encounters through the same religious or cultural framework. The Divine seems perfectly capable of communicating through whatever symbolic language a person can safely recognize and receive.

The Brain and Consciousness

I do not currently believe that the brain creates consciousness. My experiences lead me to understand the brain as a receiver, processor, and transponder through which consciousness interacts with the human body.

This is not something I present as settled neuroscience. It is a conclusion drawn from my two near-death experiences, other nonordinary experiences, and what I have witnessed in sessions. It is also consistent with my sense that consciousness can exist independently of the physical body.

The human brain remains critically important to embodied life, but it may filter consciousness as much as it produces thought. Our ordinary waking awareness may represent only the small portion of a much larger consciousness that can be received and processed through the human nervous system.

Energetic Sovereignty and Attachments

Just as we interact with biological organisms in the physical world, we may also interact with forms of energy and consciousness that are not physically embodied.

I distinguish among energetic parasites, lost human souls, and more deliberately harmful attachments. Energetic parasites seem relatively common. I think of them as something like nonphysical microbes. They may consume energy or interfere with clarity, contributing to experiences such as fatigue, confusion, or a sense of depletion.

Lost soul attachments appear to be discarnate humans who did not fully transition or reintegrate following physical death. Most do not seem malicious. They are often confused, frightened, or seeking the energy and comfort they can no longer generate through a physical body.

More invasive or intentionally harmful attachments appear to be less common. I do not believe fear is a useful response to any of these possibilities. Fear itself can undermine sovereignty and discernment.

Energetic hygiene serves much the same purpose as physical hygiene. Grounding, healthy boundaries, intentional clearing, protective imagery, prayer, chanting, and other personally meaningful practices can help us maintain a coherent field. They do not need to become elaborate rituals driven by fear. The purpose is to strengthen sovereignty, not create hypervigilance.

Empathic people may be especially susceptible to energetic depletion because they tend to absorb what belongs to others, give more than they receive, and struggle with boundaries. Teaching energetic hygiene without teaching emotional and interpersonal boundaries would therefore be incomplete.

Consent, Discernment, and Ethical Restraint

Perceiving something does not automatically give us the right to announce it.

If I sense an attachment or disruption in someone’s field, particularly outside the context of a session, it is not my place to tell them simply because I believe I have perceived it. That person has not consented to my interpretation, and I may be wrong.

Discernment includes knowing when to speak, when to ask permission, and when to remain quiet. Spiritual perception does not exempt us from humility, boundaries, or the possibility of projection. In fact, the more unusual the perception, the more carefully I believe we should hold it.

Our role as practitioners is not to become authorities over a client’s spiritual reality. It is to help clients safely explore their own experience while maintaining choice, agency, and sovereignty.

Integration Matters More Than Information

I do not believe that knowing more about nonphysical reality is always better. There was a time when I wanted answers to everything. Experience has taught me that some doors are best opened gradually.

Expanded perception can be beautiful, but it can also make ordinary human life more difficult. Information arriving faster than the nervous system and psyche can integrate it may be destabilizing. This is one reason I am cautious about substances and practices that can force rapid, overwhelming experiences of nonordinary consciousness.

A client does not need access to every dimension, lifetime, guide, or cosmic mystery in order to heal. They need whatever information, experience, or resource they are ready to receive now.

The goal is not to become so fascinated with other realms that we abandon this one. We are here, embodied, for a reason. Healing should help us become more present for our lives, relationships, bodies, choices, and responsibilities. If a spiritual practice consistently makes someone less grounded, less functional, more frightened, or more dependent upon an outside authority, something needs to be reconsidered.

Holding the Map Lightly

This is the map I am currently using. It helps me make sense of what I have experienced and the recurring patterns I have witnessed in sessions. It is not the territory itself.

Your experiences may lead you to different language or different conclusions. That is not a threat to this work. None of us needs to possess the final answer in order to facilitate a meaningful, ethical, and healing experience.

I encourage you to remain curious without becoming credulous, discerning without becoming closed, and humble without dismissing what you genuinely experience. Hold your beliefs firmly enough to give you orientation, but lightly enough that new understanding can still find you.

You are not being trained to become a guru. You are learning how to become a steady, ethical, compassionate facilitator who can accompany another person into the unknown without pretending that you own it.

Well, this was a big one! 🤩

I was recently interviewed by Natasha Williams for "The Spiritual Warrior Journey" podcast, which has more than 17,500 subscribers on YouTube alone, and many more on other platforms...and the episode is available as of today!

Natasha gave me the space to share the full story of the near-death experience I had at 18 after losing more than half of my body's blood during childbirth. I talked about watching the paramedics try to save my body, encountering the presence that called itself “I Am,” witnessing different beings experiencing the afterlives they expected, and being given the choice to stay or return to my newborn daughter.

But we also talked about the part that tends to get left out of beautiful NDE stories: how hard it was to come back! 😞

For many years, I wasn’t sure I had made the right choice. It took decades of healing before this life stopped feeling like something I had to endure and began to feel like the playground I now experience it as.

Of course, Natasha and I also wandered into hypnosis, higher selves, out-of-body experiences, reality creation, the consciousness of the body, spiritual bypassing, energetic hygiene, reality creation, why cats may be excellent anchors for wandering souls, and my belief that the real question is not whether everyone can be hypnotized.

(You already are. The bigger question is whether you can be unhypnotized?) 🤨

You can watch our full conversation (link in first comment).

Thank you, Natasha, for such a thoughtful, curious, and wonderfully expansive conversation.

I’ve met very few people who enjoy worrying. To date, “anxiety” is the number one reason people seek my help as a hypnotherapist.

And most- if not all- people who worry would gladly stop if they knew how.
The interesting question isn’t why we worry. The more interesting question is why our brains keep convincing us that worrying is somehow useful.

Hypervigilance is one of the cleverest tricks the nervous system ever invented.

Somewhere along the way, many of us unconsciously concluded that if we could just think through every possible disaster ahead of time, we’d be ready for whatever life throws at us.

Our brain quietly whispers,

“Keep thinking about it. You’ll figure it out. You’ll be safer.”

Except…

That’s not what actually happens. Not even close. In fact, quite the opposite happens!

There’s a few things happening simultaneously:

ℝ𝕖𝕒𝕕 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕗𝕦𝕝𝕝 𝕖𝕤𝕤𝕒𝕪 𝕠𝕟 𝕊𝕦𝕓𝕤𝕥𝕒𝕔𝕜. ℙ𝕝𝕖𝕒𝕤𝕖 𝕝𝕚𝕜𝕖 𝕒𝕟𝕕 𝕤𝕦𝕓𝕤𝕔𝕣𝕚𝕓𝕖.

What if your career filled your soul and healed your nervous system instead of draining it?

We’ve become so accustomed to thinking of anxiety, burnout, and dissatisfaction as problems to solve that we rarely stop to ask what they might be trying to tell us. 🥺

What if they aren’t necessarily asking us to do less, but to do something more meaningful?

One of the things I find most fascinating about recent neuroscience and psychological research is that it keeps pointing in the same direction. People who experience a genuine sense of meaning and purpose in their lives tend to report greater happiness, lower rates of anxiety and depression, and even appear to have a lower risk of cognitive decline as they grow older! 🧠

That doesn’t surprise me after everything I’ve learned first hand in known life and the lives of my students as well as my clients.

Most of us were raised to chase achievement. Accomplishments. Externally rewards for validation of a job well done. But a job well done doesn’t always translate to a life well lived.

We were taught to work harder, earn more, climb higher, and keep adding more goals to the list. Yet so many people eventually arrive at the life they thought they wanted only to realize something still feels missing. 🧐

Because achievement and fulfillment aren’t the same thing! 🙅‍♀️

Meaning doesn’t usually come from what we accumulate. It comes from feeling like we’re contributing to the overall good of something greater than just ourselves.

Maybe that’s why you’ve found yourself drawn toward this kind of work.

Maybe you’ve always been the person that others naturally confide in. The one who can hold a safe space for others to grow. Maybe you’ve been fascinated by the incredible capacity of the human mind and body to heal, change, and grow. Maybe you’ve quietly wondered if helping people transform their lives could become something more than an interest…Maybe it could become your life’s work.

And uplevel your own life immeasurably in the process!

If that’s where you are, I’d love to introduce you to Quantum Journeys Hypnosis™.

Graduate review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
“And for those considering adding this to your tool bag do it. I am getting clients very easily just by telling people what I do. People are looking for people that do this work.” ~ Shelley Whisler

The Quantum Journeys Hypnosis™ Academy is much more than a hypnosis certification.

It is a comprehensive training that blends clinical, evidence-based hypnosis with multidimensional consciousness exploration (aka “spirituality”) and energy work to create an approach that supports the wholistic healing of the mind, body, and spirit.

This September I’m opening enrollment for the 5th Cohort of our LIVE Quantum Journeys Hypnosis™ Training.

There are two different ways to join us.

1️⃣ If you’re already an experienced or certified hypnotist and simply want to learn the Quantum Journeys method, the Practitioner Path was designed with you in mind. You’ll receive six weeks of live interactive training, multiple supervised practice sessions, the QJH Training Manual, my proprietary Interactive Clickable QJH Session Guide, and access to our worldwide community of Quantum Journeys students and graduates. It’s the perfect way to add a unique and powerful approach to the practice you’ve already built.

2️⃣ If you’re brand new to hypnosis or you’re looking for a complete career change, I recommend the Mastery Path.

The Mastery Path includes everything in the live training plus the entire Quantum Journeys Hypnosis™ Academy, lifetime access to every future update, dual certification as both a Certified Quantum Journeys Hypnotist™ and a Certified International Hypnosis Association Hypnotherapist, downloadable manuals and resources, complete business setup, your own professionally designed client website with an integrated booking system, two months of launch support, and a complimentary one-hour Business Strategy Session with me after graduation.

⚠️ If you’re already enrolled in the learn-at-your-own-pace QJHA, reach out to me for a special discounted rate. 😉

My goal has never been to simply teach people hypnosis.

My goal is for you to graduate with the confidence, experience, support, and practical tools to begin helping people immediately. I don’t want you leaving with another certificate that ends up framed on a wall while you wonder what comes next. I want you walking away ready to build a meaningful practice that genuinely changes lives, including your own.

One of my favorite parts of the live training is watching complete strangers become close friends. Your practice partners often become your biggest cheerleaders long after graduation. You’ll receive incredible sessions yourself while learning to facilitate profound transformation for others. Time and again, graduates tell me they enrolled because they wanted to help people, but somewhere along the way they realized they had experienced just as much growth and healing themselves.

That’s one of the beautiful surprises of this work.

If you’ve been feeling that quiet nudge that there’s another chapter waiting for you, I’d encourage you to pay attention to it.

Sometimes changing your career isn’t really about changing careers.

Sometimes it’s about becoming more fully yourself.

If you’d like to learn more about Quantum Journeys Hypnosis™ Academy or simply have a conversation to see if it’s the right fit, reply to this email or schedule a call with me. I’d love to hear your story and answer your questions.

🥳 Plus, inclusion in our private virtual community of almost 300 QJH practitioners and students, dedicated practice rooms, lots of unique tools and resources to help you and your business.

I hope to meet you soon! See first comment for more info.
