it all started with my mami, tia, and abuela chopping up onions for my feet when i was sick, rubbing “vaporuu” on my chest, brewing teas from whatever plants they swore would help. i didn’t know it then but those moments were planting the seed for what would eventually become Erekani Herbs. 🌿

Most people don’t realize this. Honestly, in the beginning, I didn’t either.

After learning how much “blue lotus” online isn’t actually blue lotus, I checked my own batch… and realized I had been duped too. Don’t get me wrong, the vibrant purple flower you usually see isn’t completely useless. But it’s not true Egyptian blue lotus.

I spent a long time looking for the real thing, and when I finally found it, the difference was obvious.

It looks different, smells different and even the energy of it feels different.

I only use the real plant in my blends now.

Once you experience true blue lotus, your whole perspective shifts. There’s honestly no other way to describe it besides… magical. No wonder it was used in ritual.
