This wasn’t a Dolly quote , but as I have kinda mourned her surprised passing it made me think of why she was just so successful in work and relationships. There was no competition for her given gifts and plans for her life!

As she said it the Lord gave her the gift of singing and she followed through with hard work, determination unrivaled, and never complained! She also never apologized for wanting to be a star or make a lot of money!
She was a true bad ass boss! She was generous, kind, and avoided getting caught up in political sides!
She was on the side of faith, family, friends, and god given opportunities!

I wish I could have met her to let her know how she has touched my life. Never having running water , never being embarrassed of her past and making sure millions would have books to read because her Dad couldn’t!

I know you all adore her the same!

Thanks for being such a force of positivity and kindness in this brief time on earth!
