Tender Hearts, founded by Ms. Debria Doherty of Doherty & Associates, was formed as a way to help children and their families receive better medical care, and improve their quality of life. The organization’s mission is to donate to different organizations that support children with diverse needs in order to create a better quality of life.

ldren are hospitalized, has always been a top priority in my personal life,” says Doherty. “As I’ve learned through my own experience with the hospitalization of close family members and as myself as a child, these types of events can be devastating for families and the wellness of the child.” “Having family by their side increases the well-being and welfare of the child and enables faster recovery”. Over the last 14 years, Doherty & Associates has given back by supporting children’s charitable organizations. Most recently, in 2014, Doherty & Associates was a proud sponsor of the March of Dimes Dancing for Babies program; furthermore, in 2013, the company raised $35,600 in donations, which went to help provide affordable lodging at the Ronald McDonald House of Delaware.

Did you know that Tender Hearts supports medically fragile children and their families throughout Delaware through a variety of programs designed to bring comfort, support, and hope during difficult times?

From celebrating important milestones, to providing mobility assistance, to helping children stay connected with school and cope with medical treatments, every program is focused on improving a child’s quality of life and reminding families they are not alone.

Every fundraiser, every donation, every ticket purchased, and every share helps make these programs possible.

Today marks the final day of ticket sales for our Paint & Sip event, and we want to extend our sincerest gratitude to everyone who purchased tickets and supported this special fundraiser.

Because of your generosity, we are able to continue our mission of bringing hope, joy, and support to children and families throughout our community. Every ticket purchased helps make a difference and brings us one step closer to creating brighter futures for Delaware children.
