Take a peek at my office! ✨

Trying to make a space that honored the different stages of life everyone is in was SUPER important for me.

As a play therapist I need my toys, but what about expectant and current parents, those struggling with getting pregnant, those navigating postpartum, teens, and those just wanting somewhere relaxing to process life in?

Toys are wonderful and I look forward to building up my playroom, but wow, it can be difficult combining two very different vibes.

But….I think I did it!

A space for everyone, a space that thinks about you before you even step foot in the building. A space that brings play therapy alive while dialing back the noise from outside, depending on your needs.

✨A little about me professionally:✨
- I graduated from UNCP with my Master’s Degree in Professional School Counseling (but I took all the classes to also become a clinical mental health counselor).
- I have a play therapy certificate and am seeking to add RPT after my name (registered play therapist).
- I am super interested in not only supporting kids and parents within the realm of play therapy, but I ALSO am seeking my PMH-C to support those in the perinatal period!
-I have worked as a Professional School Counselor, Outpatient Therapist in community mental health, and a School-based Therapist.

✨A little about me non-professionally:✨
- I’m a new mom to a human, old mom to a bunch of animals (3 dogs, 3 cats, a bird, and a fish).
- I used to have a musical theatre scholarship and wanted to be a Disney Princess, but now I spend my time providing therapy, training MMA, and going to concerts.
- Yellow is my favorite color, but you’ll see me gravitate towards pink, green, and burnt orange for decoration colors 💛🩷💚🧡

- Nonjudgmental (Say the thing, feel the thing, process the thing. That’s what I’m here to help you with!)
- Genuine (I’m going to be me and I’m someone who cares A LOT).
-Flexible (We are going to laugh and be silly, at the same time, we will also cry and feel things that are hard to feel at times).
-Comfy couch (It’s green, it’s cozy, there will be pillows and blankets, and it will give you a place to just sink into for an hour each week to just be.)
