Readiness is built long before the call. It's strengthened every time rescue professionals train, collaborate and learn from one another.

The recent United Kingdom Rescue Organization Rope Rescue Challenge 2026, hosted by Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue, brought together 14 teams from across the UK and as far as Portugal for three days, eight scenarios and countless opportunities to share knowledge.

FERNO was proud to support this UKRO event and see our basket stretchers used in almost every scenario as teams demonstrated their skill, coordination and adaptability.

Experiences like this keep us connected to the rescue community and help inform the equipment, training and support we provide for real-world rescue operations.
