𩺠HAPPY NURSES WEEK š©ŗ
Not all superheroes wear capes, some wear compression socks, carry trauma silently, survive on caffeine and prayer, and still walk into the presence of the next patient with compassion in their voice.
This week, I celebrate every nurse who kept going when they were exhausted.
Every nurse who cried in private but stayed strong in public.
Every nurse who missed moments with family while helping someone else hold onto theirs.
Because nursing is not just a job.
Itās emotional labor.
Itās sacrifice.
Itās advocacy.
Itās strength wrapped in scrubs.
š§”25 years in healthcare
š§”22 years as a RN
š§”7 years as a Nurse Practitioner
š§”Experience spanning hospitals, primary care, telemedicine, house calls, chronic care, oncology, LTC, Occupational Health, Urgent care, home health, case management, palliative care, mental health, and beyond
And through every role⦠one thing has stayed the same:
I never stopped caring deeply about people and improving their quality of life. I love what I do.
To every nurse reading this:
You may feel overlooked sometimes, but your impact lives in the people who got through hard moments because you were there.
We are the calm in chaos.
The voice patients remember.
The heart of healthcare. š§”
So thank you thank you thank you!!
