A Caring Heart provides NC Innovations Waiver, state-funded and Medicaid services in two MCO service regions: Alliance Health, and Trillium Health Resources with offices in Wilson, Rocky Mount, Wilmington, Goldsboro, Smithfield, Jacksonville, Kenansville, Clinton, and Greenville. We provide an array of community-based services and supports for people with intellectual and developmental disabiliti

es. Our services promote individual choice, empowerment and community inclusion. A Caring Heart provides day program services at nine Independence Centers, residential supports at eight group homes and individual AFL homes, plus overnight respite at Aunt Max's Respite Care in Wilson.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Kenansville and Clinton participated in a therapeutic activity using Art Therapy. Art Therapy uses creative expression to help individuals process emotions, reduce stress, and improve mental well-being. Consumers and staff expressed themselves through painting for mental health awareness month. Awesome job!
