The past few weeks at DOI have been filled with fun and engaging experiences for our participants! Cooking with Taylor from the NC Cooperative Extension, self-portraits with Wilson Arts, learning about The Heart, making rock candy, and even finding a few trolls at Dix park!! You never know what sort of exciting adventures the day will hold at Diversified Opportunities 😁

We certainly enjoyed spending time with a great group of student leaders and advisors from Barton College! 💙 They rolled up their sleeves and helped some of our participants assemble and decorate beautiful birdhouses, while also giving our outdoor sitting area a summer cleanup! Our Program Manager Mallory’s last day with us was this past Friday, and while it’s hard to say goodbye, we are so excited for the wonderful journey ahead of her! Mallory is dearly loved by everyone at DOI and she will be missed so much. We couldn’t be happier for her as she prepares to welcome her little one into the world!
